ya i wanna know how much gt555m consume also. Coz mine also i5, so its a roughly 35W there ady

555M is about 45W TDP while 540M is 35W TDp
That's why i7 using 120w power brick

i tried forced turboboost with throttle stop + furmark + intel burn in test + battery with my dv6.. instant shutdown. laugh.gif

no.. all still ok. temp still low because i just start running it.
maybe some built in safety kicks in to prevent maniac accidently damage the laptop/battery. sweat.gif

Non-aircon room, only normal cooler on bed.

how far will the wireless N speed will go ? mine is at 65 mbps i cant seem to bump the speed even more with putting the router close with my laptop
using a N55SF i5 version
