inside an ex hdd... is a normal hdd with sata interface. i tink... it's the connection.. the translator that makes it usb 3.0... if so.. then changing to biggir hdd while keeping the connector electronics should work.. i tink

Just the outside there port is different. Usb 2.0 is mini usb, then 3.0 is something special port. Coz hdd out there now also sata interface one right.... didn't see any other interface one. I tried copying a 10GB file to my USB3 exHDD ... it completed in less than 2 minutes sorry for the spam.
