Could someone provide me with a quick measurement of the size of N55SF keyboard in centimetres? (L x W)

Just got the n55SF!!!
 The recovery takes a really long time izzit?more than an hour ready but still first disc!!  |

Does the N55SF have a lock in the front to hold the screen in place when closed?
And are the cooling vents at the bottom of the laptop sufficient? |
