want to ask ah.
How does tires have uneven wear?

Added on October 12, 2011, 7:33 pm@Area & Wifecar - Tq for the advices. good suspension ah... so getting those adjustable ones are recommended?
*
I think you better sit in someone's car with the suspension that you wanted to buy...

All I can say is, it might not have the comfort level that you want.

guys, i plan to change the rims of my myvi 2007, been searching here and there... however i found that whether isit possible to fit alza standard rims into myvis... since its slightly larger than the original myvi wheels, wonder if it will affect the FC or handling performances...do anyone fit alza rims on ur myvis yet?

and also, since its originally alloy, i wonder if its possible to re-spray the rim to another color??? wonder if the color will stay long if its re-sprayed... unsure.gif

If the rim spec is 4x100 offset 40 +/-5 , then can use.

GUys....how much discount u guys get for your 1,5 myvi?
getting 1 for my wife so see if u ppl to recommend for better offer or not.

Btw, for myvi sound proofing, which is the main part to do which will "greatly" quiet down the cabin....what i mean is very very effective on a single part...example firewall or bonnet or the floor
*
Very unlikely soundproofing 1 part and deal with all the noise...

My best bet for very effective single part, Full flooring from back all the way to firewall. No need to remove dashboard...

But for me is expensive haha.

So there is a button which can press and adjust the height n ride? That is so cool, can adjust anytime?
*
I think you can adjust, but I don't think you want to do it so frequent actually... My car can do that too, but I don't do it so frequent, the repair is not cheap though.

I remember GAB got something like a small device with wire to your cabin, you can adjust from there.

But, not cheap.

anybody here installed voltage stabilizers in their myvi?? mind commenting on ur experience?? coz was recommended 2 install one by my ICE installer..
*
I installed the Pivot... The blue one. The engine recover faster and also the head light did not dim that long when the compressor kicks in.

But my advice, go for those cap used for ICE...

I used Pivot on my Nissan, the same one as Myvi... no effect at all. Then I changed and installed the cap most ICE use, 1.4 farad... Then you can really feel the effect.

I bought Pivot that comes with grounding cable for RM230++. The cap 1.4 farad only RM450.00.

But please get those proper brand one, I have tested the Abang brand cap.... The power couldn't last that long for the money paid.

i already have a 2.0 farad cap, n im satisfied wit it.. but ystrday, my ICE installer told me that using the VS 2gether wit the cap is much better.. he told me the VS could result in better FC n better pickup, n better 4 my ICE too.. thats y im asking around 2 see if those benefits really r true..
*
Unless your current cap is not performing, or else I would say not necessary.

I use cap on Myvi to solve the compressor kick in problem, the Pivot was already sufficient. Yours somemore is 2.0 farad... something fishy with the installer?

What is the difference between the VS and your current cap? I don't see any difference, it is still cap.

ic ic.. thnx 4 the explanation then MWC, really appreciate it..

n yes, after i installed the cap, the comp kick in thing was much better..

oh yeah, if u dont mind answering, u think grounding cables r a necessity then??
*
Not necessary, actually. I personally do not see any improvement on car performance or ICE performance.

But, I do have 1 cable from the alternator to batt on "+".

The other grounding that I have is the "-" terminal straight to body. I changed to a bigger cable 4 gauge.

The feeling is great after installing the cap and when the compressor kicks in, you do not feel power loss that much.

I mean the 4 point lower bar is located below the floor right...?? So, when it's fixed below the car's belly, how much ground clearance that it reduces..?? If car lowered already, can fix lower bar aaaa...?? Or the bar will scrap the road when the road is a bit bumpy or wavey...?? Will have sparks below car, waaa, that way, sure looks sooooo cool already...  rclxms.gif

[attachmentid=2532566] When have this bar, ground clearance is reduced by how much when compare without it...??
*
I think if it is not too low, then it is fine. For example like those using adjustable coil spring. If you merely changed tp sports spring, I think the clearance should not be a problem.
