quick question. Is it true that when ur idling at traffic lights its advised to shift to N? for automatic's. biggrin.gif

to save fuel or something?  rclxub.gif
*
Save fuel, yes. Anything else, I'm not sure.

I always put it into 'N'....because I hate the feeling when the compressor kicks in and the car feel like wanted to go already.... biggrin.gif

Yes, you'll just have to do it right. Not necessary you have to spend alot.

Insulflex way, definitely will not work. It sounds right when you knock on it, but when you drive .... shakehead.gif Money wasted.

2nd service they will change ATF fluid... 3rd service only change engine oil ... for 1st service , its about RM200+ , but remember to request for worksheet before they do it , some they will pandai pandai charge u for useless stuff such as noise insulator for RM80 , iridium spark plug RM180 and so on.

i done my 3rd service on this sunday , and they included Rm180 iridium spark plug. i asked them to removed it !will email to perodua to complain later on thru CONTACT US ....
*
Why need to change spark plug on 3rd service? This is ridiculous. mad.gif

Those SC really .... doh.gif

Maybe too many foreigners in this country already, the mentality also like "I say you do" kind.

Just went to first service last week, they change ATF fluid for me, without noticing it I paid for the total of RM169...
After that I check he receipt only realize they changed the ATF fluid...

I went back to the sc, I asked y I should change the gear oil, they said the gearbox is import from Japan that's why need to change the ATF fluid, I was like wtf?? What reason is that?

After complaining and some argument with the manager, they decided to refund for me...

BTW, the sc is in Bandar Teknologi Kajang, I won't visit there anymore...
*
Sorry, but I don't have the booklet with me... Please check in your booklet and see what was mentioned in there. If they want to argue, bring the booklet out.

Nice move Bro, serve this as an example to the rest of the forumers so they will go thru their receipt and booklet everytime they go for their car service.

how long do i need to fill the water tank?
*
You should have it check every service. Normally the level should still be the same. If yours is not, then need to check properly for leakage or something else.

Any 1 here with the 1.5 myvi?
Any problem thus far? Considering to get 1 for my wife to ferry my daughter to skol

I have test driven it...yea it does feel a little more powerful but except for that everything
look and sound like typical old myvi...interior sound the same, engine sound the same, going over harsh road sound the same...

The extreme version are priced so high...at 61k now suzuki swift come out with a base model selling 65k...which will u choose?
*
I like the honesty~ biggrin.gif Same chasis and same manufacture, but different pricing. So won't go too far off...

any ways to dampen the road sound..

means if cruisin on the rough road...the sound will project into the car.

Soundproof your cabin floor. It is normal for Myvi, the metal too thin.

Sure it is your absorber sound?

Have you check the caliper pin or absorber mounting?

how to tell them the sound?I mean what sound ?from where? All myvi got that sound?

Actually absorber seldom produce such a loud sound...

When will you encounter the noise?
Is it when you brake while going over a hump, then the noise "kluk kluk kluk"?

Above is what I experienced, I changed the absorber mounting only.

Not sure if my Multimedia Navi system is faulty or what, when playing CD randomly it will pause a while before the song continues again (can assure that no shock of going over potholes etc when it happens). Thing is also very difficult to complain since it happens randomly, if they don't see/experience it, then for sure they'll say nothing wrong with it.

Also, it is quite annoying that the player kinda reads CD loudly (when you first put in the CD, it makes a loud noise). sweat.gif

I think I'll definitely change to a better 2-din navi system in the future when a nice bracket for it is available.
*
You are the 2nd person to complaint about the HU... There was another Myvian complaint about the HU not functioning also... Have it check by SC and claim warranty fast fast. smile.gif

Rough road doesn't seem to cause it, the engine vibration when accelerating harder causes mine to rattle/vibrate.
Well, it comes with Continental CCC5 so shouldn't be as bad as Goodyear's.
*
New LB Myvi comes stock with CC5 tyres?

How is it? Really comfort and quiet?

Last time, P2 give NCT5 only... after 75% usage, everybody sing along~ laugh.gif

@Area51SE - serious ah? bigger rim. I think for the old myvi's (not the LB) the most can fit 17inch gua.

Hmm, I think with the help of the bars. I think enough to hug guaa. doh.gif
*
Bars and Good suspension is enough to handle your car during cornering.

For the 1.3 LB model, if I'm not mistaken only the very first batch got the Continental tires. After that it was all Goodyear.

For 1.5, I believe they will be providing Continental tires as default since some articles mentioned that the CC5 tires were somehow "specially engineered" for the MyVi. hmm.gif
*
So it doesn't come with CC5 ... ?

Because I know CC5 is expensive, if it comes with Myvi... Then it is a plus plus point.

Last time, Myvi do come with CC1...

Just collected my car from Puchong Kenari SA. hehehe  tongue.gif  tongue.gif  tongue.gif

Car is fine ... only disappointing thing is the 175/65/14 Silverstone tyre .... haiz.... to change or not to change .....
*
If can use, then just use first... no point changing if it is still new. You won't get much by doing trade in also.
