quick question. Is it true that when ur idling at traffic lights its advised to shift to N? for automatic's.

to save fuel or something?

Hey guys, just wan to ask, do we need to change ATF fluid on the first service?

2nd service they will change ATF fluid... 3rd service only change engine oil ... for 1st service , its about RM200+ , but remember to request for worksheet before they do it , some they will pandai pandai charge u for useless stuff such as noise insulator for RM80 , iridium spark plug RM180 and so on.

i done my 3rd service on this sunday , and they included Rm180 iridium spark plug. i asked them to removed it !will email to perodua to complain later on thru CONTACT US ....

Just went to first service last week, they change ATF fluid for me, without noticing it I paid for the total of RM169...
After that I check he receipt only realize they changed the ATF fluid...

I went back to the sc, I asked y I should change the gear oil, they said the gearbox is import from Japan that's why need to change the ATF fluid, I was like wtf?? What reason is that?

After complaining and some argument with the manager, they decided to refund for me...

BTW, the sc is in Bandar Teknologi Kajang, I won't visit there anymore...

I checked, the booklet write 20k they will inspect the ATF fluid... I showed them the booklet, but they said the gearbox is from Japan, bla bla bla... But end up refund for me....

Definitely not Perodua... And i prefer sedan as well...

Yeah everytime go to work can see the perodua treler and wondering which one is mine... Lol... My HU is the flush one... The manual se dun have the dvd gps thingy and i dun need it...

I have test driven it...yea it does feel a little more powerful but except for that everything
look and sound like typical old myvi...interior sound the same,engine sound the same,going over harsh road sound the same...

The extreme version are priced so high...at 61k now suzuki swift come out with a base model selling 65k...which will u choose?

any ways to dampen the road sound..

means if cruisin on the rough road...the sound will project into the car.

juz changed 2 of my front absorber during the July service...bt it produces the "krok krok" sound..
then went back to my fren workshop...wanted to claim warranty...
take back to the manufacturer...they say no spoilt..
when install back into my car..barely 3 days...damn....the sound reappears....

how to tell them the sound?I mean what sound ?from where?All myvi got that sound?

Not sure if my Multimedia Navi system is faulty or what, when playing CD randomly it will pause a while before the song continues again (can assure that no shock of going over potholes etc when it happens). Thing is also very difficult to complain since it happens randomly, if they don't see/experience it, then for sure they'll say nothing wrong with it.

Also, it is quite annoying that the player kinda reads CD loudly (when you first put in the CD, it makes a loud noise).

I think I'll definitely change to a better 2-din navi system in the future when a nice bracket for it is available.

Rough road doesn't seem to cause it, the engine vibration when accelerating harder causes mine to rattle/vibrate.
Well, it comes with Continental CCC5 so shouldn't be as bad as Goodyear's.

For the 1.3 LB model, if I'm not mistaken only the very first batch got the Continental tires. After that it was all Goodyear.

For 1.5, I believe they will be providing Continental tires as default since some articles mentioned that the CC5 tires were somehow "specially engineered" for the MyVi.
