Hey guys, anyone of you ever encounter gearbox problem for the myvi 1.3 Auto? My gear is giving me problems for reversing this past month. It seems like the gearbox will delay a few second to engage the R gear.

Btw, i'm using p2 ATF D3.

Try get it checked at P2 SC. You are using the Lagi Best Myvi or the Previous Gen?

Overhaul not because how old the car is.. Also because of mileage n driving style... If drive aggressively with manual override up n down the gearbox often with high rpm usage, for sure wear n tear is higher..

Added on November 15, 2011, 6:39 pmMy friend's kembara last time need to overhaul gb, he was quoted around 4k ++ at SC, ended up trade-in the old kembara with a myvi... Gearbox overhaul is very expensive.. But maybe can search around, for gearbox rebuild services that will cost maybe a bit cheaper than SC... Anything GB related usually gonna cost a bomb...

Actually to qualify for the warranty, do we have to keep sending the car to SC for servicing?
What happens is we have the service done outside SC, warranty still valid or not?

I think it wouldn't be valid . If you send it servicing outside means that if there's any problem. P2 will be saying it's the outside's fault and therefore they won't give u a new replacement / fix it . If u want it you have to pay then

hi, I found my 2006 myvi original alarm is not functioning. The alarm will not be triggered when the door isn't closed properly or the door is opened up after the door has been locked.

any experience with this? how could I get it repair and how much it will cost? any recommended shop?

Sadly no. Anybody done overhaul for their gearbox before? Mind recommending any gearbox specialist?
