QUOTE
Sometimes, it's impossible to tell whether a person slipped or not because the pitches are watered during half time and before game (some pitches at least) and I've played football in watery pitches as well and a simple turn or even when you try to accelerate can result in a slip. And of course, it's simple common sense that when you're running, you're less stable.
This.
Seriously, it's hard to tell whether it's deliberate or not and did you guys see a pattern after they fell to the ground? First, they'll look at the referee with a "defaq?! That's not a penalty/foul for you?? look" and when they didn't get the foul, they'll start bashing together with some hand signs to show their frustration. Every player, every single one of them is doing this nowadays
QUOTE
Ahem ahem.
That's what I thought was the reason why some of the Barca players milked a few challenges during el Clasico last season because
they were always on the receiving end of constant off the ball niggling and hard tackles.
But none of them get the kind of exposure that Barca gets.
And this will forever be at the back of the people's mind.
A great team but full of divers even though that it totally incorrect.
So, now you understand the reason and you know they did it deliberately right, some even looked ridiculous. But, we, the fans, understand this act because we followed them from time to time but, the other fans like the opponents and neutral fans will judge that act as if it was the most ridiculous thing they have ever seen and none of that ever took part in their team. They are a bunch of hypocrites, so take their opinion with a pinch of salt.
Barca is currently the best team in the world. People always take a dig at the best. We can't control their perception. Let them judge the way they want, we can simply ignore them.

The thing is a player like Pepe has a strong physique.
I don't really count that as an excuse.
You see, I need you to understand that Pepe is mentally retarded. He's a great player and he fights for the shirt. A while back, he was not the same player as he is today. Remember, early in his days he stopped Barca from scoring in Nou Camp and we won 0-1 against you guys, that was probably one of his greatest performance and there were many of them but not as great as the one I mentioned.
Then he became a little worst when he committed "that foul" on Juan Albin, the pathetic diving starts after he was sent off in the 1st leg UCL Semis against Barca and he became a beast when he stepped on Messi's hand deliberately. It's a type of revenge but later it grows in him and he transformed and became even worst then before.
So I suggest you to stop single out Pepe since everybody hates him. The players, LFP and the neutrals. No point in discussing about him and his actions.
QUOTE
Di Maria used to this a lot last season where he would just throw his body on the ground, either to get a penalty or simply a free kick.
Now Ozil is up to it as well.
This offence is to me worse than milking a challenge, like what Busi used to do on a handful of occassions in his whole career and like what happened to Pepe vs. Valencia (it was a tackle, i dont understand why people say it's a dive).
Or another example is Bale a couple of weeks ago and then one guy from Newcastle last week and this week Ashley Young.
Di Maria was doing it for a very long time way before he's a Madrid player. So I don't know what is his agenda but it's not pleasing my eyes as well while Ozil is not the same, he done it against Valencia out of growing frustration. So since you understand Barca's act in the El Clasico, I assume that you can also understand Ozil's act against Valencia.
Milking a challenge is to get the best result out of a soft tackle, doesn't matter if it's to get the offenders carded or to get a penalty/free kick. Barca have some of their players milked a challenge right to get a penalty, yes? So, there's a fair share of players that did that in each team.
What you see in Di Maria is actually what others see in Busi. You can always justify a foul on him but you can't really change anybody's perception. I can also say that what Alves and Busi did (getting Pepe and Motta red carded) is much worst than diving to get a free kick or a penalty. See, you catch the drift now? It's about perspective, it's about how people view and judge them. It's beyond my control and I can't comment on that.

You said you play semi-pro.
Where? In Malaysia?
Yupe in Malaysia. I'm not lucky. I injured my ankle twice and both happened a week before the selection for two different professional clubs. One was 4 years before and another one took place 2 months ago. Guess I'll stick in semi-pro until I retire

I don't mind media's headlines, I'm bothered with people's perceptions they produced, and general perception have not been very fair towards us

Like Alves play act against Pepe? Ahhh this again
Would you tell us how we can ignore this issue, when we Barca fans here in the forum has been receiving barrage of hate posts in our thread through all these years? Not days, not months, it's years.
I expect some forumers, like radio_head, to vent their disgust in RM thread over Ronaldo and Ozil. So far nothing happen to your thread, except for some Barca fans who are probably holding grudge over this issue.
Ours? Look back a few page after Milan game, although that was about refereeing. See how many hatin we got
Not only that, remember all the stomping? Marcelo on Pedro? Arbeloa?
People's perception is actually even worse than Media's judgement. Usually, I'll just admit to whatever they want me to say or I'll ignore them
Alves vs Pepe? I have been in both ends myself so, all I can think is, they both did what they have to do. It's as easy as that.
Nothing happened in our thread? I would choose the word less but then I never really pay attention to them so, I'm not really bothered.
Referees have been my heaviest and longest discussion so far (in my FB la). But, I don't know why each time I comment on any refereeing, the other team fans (the one which the ref's decision favored them) will always bash my opinion.
I want to make this clear. I condemn the referee and his refereeing quality and I don't give a shit on which team he favors for. I am a football fan and I'm furious when SOME of the ref's controversial decision ruined the particular game. Sigh~
The refs quality nowadays are poor and it's getting worst every year. The pattern is obvious and I don't know how worst it has to be until FIFA and UEFA will start taking any actions. For me, it's worst enough.
EDIT: Jangan layan sangat bebudak yang suka sangat mengata kat orang, senang, nanti dia diam la
