QUOTE(71ers @ Sep 5 2011, 02:23 PM) It is very dangerous to have no plan B. La Liga has become a joke of a league with two clubs dominating it. I means the tactics against Arse. Remember during the treble or during the 'Class of 92' season? MU used almost the same tactics every match. Same with Barca since Pep takes over. No matter La Liga or UCL, they stick to their style. When you keeps change tactics, it may 'disturbed' the form of the players. Only used plan B, when needed during the match. (leading 2 goals, leading aggregates etc). |

If you have notice, once he thinks the team is working great (winning) he will always field back the same lineup but we know in the real world, shit will always happen i.e suspension, injuries so it's not possible to do that every game like in FIFA or PES lolWhen you keeps change tactics, it may 'disturbed' the form of the players. I guess you meant we played alot of 4-4-2 during those games right ?When you keeps change tactics, it may 'disturbed' the form of the players. Only used plan B, when needed during the match. (leading 2 goals, leading aggregates etc). during treble season and now we have a large squad of quality, alot of seniors and youngsters. every season we have a large squad but not always everyone is capable enough. this year is the fruit of the labor the youngsters and trainers put into making them SAF certified. next year looks good too as the academy has a great crop of players. only with this our success can be sustained. i don't really care what tactic or style SAF plays as long as we win. who cares if you can play beautiful football but always lose? arsene wenger and pep guardiola have an ethos and philosophy to win by playing beautiful football. nothing wrong with that but when that is the perfect they seek when it doesn't work they find it difficult to think of something else that will work. SAF and JM are similar in that they play to win, no matter the opposition, tactic, etc. they are constantly looking to find better ways to beat the opposition. the united way is never to change tactic when leading a match by goals or by aggregate. the united way is to hammer them until they 8-2 see the replay. any united fan will know when the team gets a goal in and the morale is high that is when the flood gates will open and the opposition goalkeeper will wish he was on MC that day. |

Same with Barca since Pep takes over. No matter La Liga or UCL, they stick to their style. Last 5-10 years or so, it got a bit harder playing against the big boys. While we look sublime playing 442 in most games, against the big sides we needed a bit more protection in midfield so we don't get outnumbered in the middle. When you keeps change tactics, it may 'disturbed' the form of the players. Only used plan B, when needed during the match. (leading 2 goals, leading aggregates etc). QUOTE(sHsIkuA @ Sep 6 2011, 04:24 PM) We never change that since like forever? We tried 433 in Europe in the past with Teddy/Ole/Cole if I'm not mistaken. Then SAF bought Ruud and Veron and it was 451 all the way. Then 4231 when we won back the league back in 02/03. After that 433. After Keano left we started to use 442 again. But come the big games, most of the time we would use variation of 4231/433(451 same je lebih kurang).. until today also the same. Would be interesting to see how SAF approach the big games this season. So far he's using 442 all the way. |
