Arctic Cooling MX-4 is by far the best thermal paste money can buy. Don't ever bother with Tuniq TX-4. This garbage is impossible to apply compared to the MX-4. Reviews show that they are more or less the same in terms of temperature

Actually a cheap tim will do, i tried AC MX-4 and CM CPU Cooler Stock Tim, not even 1c different honestly, but a AC MX-4 around RM30 is okay for me to spend, because it could last very long.

tuniq tx4 is like piece of clay, very vey very very difficult to spread evenly.
AC is still the easiest to spread tim.

A 101 crash course on how to apply thermal paste.
If the thermal paste is soft, you can spread a thin layer of it like butter onto both of the processor and heatsink flat smooth surface however if it's the quite hardened type, just press out a pea shape size of it onto right smack in the center of processor surface only and then, simply fastened the heatsink into place by tightening up its screws in criss-cross order should do the job nicely.

no need to apply on both cpu and cooler. just apply it on cpu only. too much thermal paste can cause overheat in some cases.
