The char siew fan in Jalan Alor is well known.
I would give it 7 out of 10.
etigge, the Overseas Restaurant in Imbi, how much do they sell roast pork per kilo? Isetan KLCC prices it at RM69/K.
I think you mean the 'char siew fan' in Jalan Tong Shin. I don't recall any in Jalan Alor that is nice. Personally I never tried it but seen the stall with racks and racks of 'char siew'. Hard to find parking there. Or probably if I wanted to eat there, I prefer eating the beef noodle there

Roasted pork at RM69 per kilo is cheap, are you sure? Because a kilo of pork belly is already RM25 to RM30. Factor in the gas/coal, seasonings, labouring near high heat and the 30% shrinkage, that's cheap.
Please don't mix up 'siew pye' with 'siew chee'. Siew chee is the roasted whole pig which is cheaper and 'siew pye' is roasted pork belly which is the most expensive part of the pig. I get into many arguments with those ignorant 'ah sou's when they buy. They don't back down too

I don't know the price in Overseas for roasted pork, sorry.
