QUOTE(duckhole @ Nov 15 2011, 02:32 AM) Hi normally I play in NA server. But that is when I am at Cambodia. 1700 elo? not bad. carry me Today I came back to Malaysia and downloaded my LoL client on my pc, and it says BLOCKED for NA. WTF is flying spaghetti monster trying to do, after purchasing LoL they ask to enforce BLOCKED on all malaysian/sg ips? Is there any way for me to still play in NA, any settings I can change. I got a 1700 elo account in NA, hell no I am not going to start at level 1 again. F flying spaghetti monster. So if anyone have any idea please share on how to connect to NA server from malaysia. ps: why forum auto changed gayrena to flying spaghetti monster? it must be really a pain in the ass that they got it subbed. and YES I do hate gayrena, even before this issue, their support team is shit and they are so arrogant when replying to you if you have any problem. they only want money from us, and then lansi to us back. |

After a lot of uproar, it seemed that Gayrena decided that players only lose their summoner name if inactive for a month, and get to keep their progress.
They should announce that earlier, not after so many ppl complaint. What kind of online game la if you inactive for a month you lose your id. Doesnt even count the fact that its a loophole for ppl to change their summoner's name. Either way, bye bye LoL. |

Option 2. Transfer your account to Garrena. Option 3. Do both, main NA and occassionally go to Garrena to pawn noobs. QUOTE(nightshade_nova @ Nov 16 2011, 11:04 AM) After a lot of uproar, it seemed that Gayrena decided that players only lose their summoner name if inactive for a month, and get to keep their progress. Not really, I want to use Goliath or Goliathus as my main ID name, yet they are occupied. So I did a search on their profile and Goliathus are only active on April 2011, played a game and that's it yet I cannot get that name as my ID name. I have not seen "the summoner name inactive after a month rule" anywhere so I guess you just don't like Garrena too much. They should announce that earlier, not after so many ppl complaint. The Riot Games staff are nice people, but G@rena (the regional distributor) is the one making things difficult.

League of Legends: 32.5 Million Players
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE Riot Games announced today that League of Legends, their action real-time strategy game for the PC, has more than doubled its registered user base in the last four months to hit 32.5 million registered users. There are 11.5 million monthly active players, with a peak concurrency of 1.3 million players. League of Legends: Season Two is about to begin, which will feature an unprecedented prize pool of $5 million, which Riot says is the largest in eSports history. The season will culminate in a global tournament with $2 million in prizes, where the winner will be proclaimed the best LoL team in the world. “The incredible passion and dedication of our players is positively inspiring,” said Brandon Beck, co-founder and CEO of Riot Games. “Our community’s boundless enthusiasm is why they are central to every decision we make at Riot.” Last month marked only the second anniversary of the game, which has been growing very rapidly. The user base compares quite favorably to World of Warcraft, with 10.3 million subscribers. “It’s staggering to think about the fact that over a billion games of League of Legends have been played since launch,” said Marc Merrill, co-founder and President of Riot Games. “In 2012, we intend to deliver even more for our growing audience.” The infographic below provides some more stats about the game. I recalled last time when transfer account from NA to gayrena, the account in NA would still be active and I would end up having a similar account in gayrena too.Is it still the same or does transfer means I lose my NA account now?
