Hi guys, i'm looking to buy my first car. and i'm really interested with gen2. my budget only around 25k, and max will be 27k. i'm already looking on carlist.my and it seems my budget only suit gen2 year 2004 and 2005.

Since it's gonna be my first car, Do you guys think the torque dip will be a problem for me ? Do you guys Recommend it ?

Adjustable lower arm bushing yek? Sama kot kes dgn aku la. Pasal caster kiri kanan x sama so alignment ada lari kiri sikit. Jenuh sikit la nk pegang time drive kat hiway. Kat jb bengkel qoute rm160 utk 2 pcs & siap alignment.

yerla kot menatang tu. ade 2 kiri dan kanan

kes aku x teruk sgt la... kalo bengkel bawah pokok, depa ikat je bende tu kot

kalau caster mmg cam haram harga dia
kat gombak kiri kanan rm200 exclude allignment

hi i'm a newbie here and the owner of gen2 AT..i wanna ask all sifus' opinions here..i am thinking of converting my AT to MT and there's already a guy willing to swap his gen2 MT gearbox with mine..so what are the pros and cons of doing this conversion?is it worth the risks?

i just buy b4 last hari raya with direct owner for only 23k only..its very cheap2 i guest...

and now, my car start make a sound ngok ngek ngok ngek and i guest its my absorber right??

can u propose me whats kind of absorber i need to change?? perfomance type or wat ever...

what kind of oil engine did u suppose 4 gen2??

baru pakai x smpai sebulan dah bunyik2 ke bro.atau memang time beli tu pun dah bunyik..

there is a lot of possibility which cause that ngok ngek ngok ngek sound
it may be the absorber, may be not the absorber too, such my case even replace new absorber..the sound still not disappear
it may be some screw or anything else loosen in ur car body

btw if ur car absorber still not yet been replace before by the previous owner, it it mandatory for u to replace the new one for ur safety when driving on uneven road or in high speed driving

if me, i just buy kayaba absorber which is the standard/default absorber for gen2 if im right
but if u are looking for performance absorber/tyres..u can buy sapura absorber and tyres like Hankook V12/Falken 912 which is not very expensive and affordable. But..before u use the sapura absorber, make sure u check izit ur current rims is standard rims or the lightweight rims..coz this sapura is suitable for lightweight sports rims..

oil engine? im currently using Shell Helix 10W40 ..so far so good
u can try Mobil super 2000 which is 10W40 too..this brand also good for me and +- same price with Helix 10W40

btw..this is on my experience

for ur infomation, my car had major service b4 hari raya..i had used mobil engine oil,borch brakeoil and change steering oil too.(suposed by ex proton specialist)

i also got info from previous owner that he does not change absober yet...
currently i'm using stock rims and planning to change to 17"
how much for sapura absorber and kayaba?? give me average price...

hope u guys can guide me...thatx alls

sapura normal stroke absorber (black color) full set around 360myr iinm.. labour charge around 80myr for all four..
btw, got some ex-sapura owners said that apm performax is better..
i personally dont know bcos never try apm yet..

p/s: im using eneos 10w40 molybdenum.. so far so good, my own personal exp feels this oil is better than magnatec

The ngek ngok noise coming from front or rear?If rear,my guess will be Rear camber a.k.a "Tulang anjing".If u got the cash better replace rear camber and absorbers all togethergether.

just for record, my tulang anjing produced 'cing cing' sound, the short ones (rubber koyak & became rusty).. replaced them already

btw, isnt tulang anjing called lower arm? bcos i read on the parts label says lower arm..
camber is which part?

APM abit stiff but depends what spring u match with
if u want comfort and not too stiff, i recommend pro-ride performance (yellow) with R3 spring
if u need to look garang with ur car, match the same abs above with GAB spring (like mine)
seriously not too low.. for me la kan hahahahaha..
