why is everyone putting the blame on wenger? i dont get it. if the club wants to splash out cash and buy stars, i guess he would love to do that too. my guess is something is certainly happening in higher level/internal of the club, which wenger has no rights to intervene.
*
We believe so because of him not reluctant to spend where necessary . For the squad depth , he trust his youngster more than anyone else where most of them had 0 experience in Premier League . Why blame injuries ? We all know that most of the starting 11 he had today are prone to injuries .

So instead of adding in decent backup , he field youngsters . For him , spending on good players out there are all waste of money because they aren't worthy . For example he could have gotten Jose Enrique for 6mil , but he decided to trust Gibbs who couldn't stay fit for more than 3 games and the dire Traore . And surprisingly , he doubled up that sum , 12m for an unproven 17mil kids , Oxlade Chamberlain . While he might turned up good , he is not someone we need right now to bolster the squad , even Wenger himself never fields him as starter .

Not to mention that he had been low-balling with the Gary Cahill bid , as he always thinks that Djourou and Squallaci are way better . As for the club authority to spend , I believe Wenger did most of the decision , but sadly , not only did he lands in big signing , he failed to improve the squad depth , all he did across the years is to buy league 1 players from French .

Perhaps the trashing last night could make him and the board realized that we need serious addition to the squad . How I wish this game is the first BPL match , so that we got more time , instead of 2 days now . sad.gif

There is nothing wrong with Wenger's tactics, it's just his transfer policy that needs to be changed. All that needs to be change is just that, his TRANSFER POLICY.

Think bout it, even if you sack him and get somebody to replace him and sign all the talent in the world. Can that new manager get the team to be playing the kind of football you Arsenal fans have fallen in love with? The one Arsene Wenger brought? All Arsenal needs now are good signings with both experience and talent. That is all!
*
It is also extremely important that we sign players who are up for the challenge. Players who are actually capable of and are willing step up to the challenge of helping arsenal to get out of this crisis. I'm actually glad that those so-called "big players" are refusing to play for the current arsenal squad cause they think we are not capable of lifting any trophies this season and don't have any star players. Obviously they don't have the balls and self-belief to lead a troubled team to glory.

+1 for your comment about who should replace Arsene

@blixtboy
Do you really watch or even read news after our defeat? Its 8-2, not 8-3. Thanks

@yogurt7
+0 for you comment about putting spoiler for casashit post, cause putting a spoiler and replying to his comment is a waste of time. brows.gif

Anyway, enough la guys. Stop flaming/name-calling each other in here.
Whether their comment hurts you, whether got grammar mistakes or whatsoever,
AFC needs us now.
And once again, please have faith or at least unite with each other like how AFC fans did at OT.
I'm kindda feel ashamed when fans from other clubs actually came in and reminds us what Arsene did for us, to ask us to have faith in the team.
Aren't we (AFC) after all are the greatest fans in the world? Especially in LYN?

Liez, Corrupted_Spirit and few others actually did a banner for supporting Arsenal during Arsenal visits to Malaysia.

Damn....u talk about pride kid? Before arsene came in 15years ago arsenal has no pride at all. Look at what he's transformed the team into. He bought in bergkamp,vieira,henry,overmars,fab,nasri among others and created the invincibles. This is what u call a true fan? Now is the time to keep the faith because all and every single on of u arsenal fans owe him. In fact i dont think ud support arsenal if not for what arsene did at the club back then. Pergi sokong mancity la kalau pentingkan 'pride' sgt. Support the man who has done so much. Nobody can replace him. Enough said.

6 years without any trophy for Arsenal might not important...but for the club future, we might not attract any quality player to join us...

orang di sini hanyalah menyatakan pendapat mereka masing-masing. adakah itu salah ? hanya kerana pendapat orang berbeza daripada anda, jadi anda menganggap pendapat orang lain itu negatif ? saya melihat kebanyakkan komen di sini bukan dilihat sebagai negatif tetapi menggalakkan diskusi. jangan kerana hanya orang tidak berpendapat sama dengan anda anda surah dia lompat kapal ? rolleyes.gif

Be strong guys, I know how it feels like when we under the old blood sucking cowboy owners and negative Uncle Woy Hodgson...maybe this is a good wake up call to the Arsenal boards and Arsene Wenger to buy some experienced players to boss the backline and midfield.

Feel sorry for the goals conceded yesterday. It will be very different if Vermalen, Wilshire, Song and Gervinho plays. Heck I think Frimpong might do something too if he wasn't banned. Maybe you guys should start buying players that have a good injury-free record to bolster the midfield and centre back, but that's for AW and your Board of Directors to decide... smile.gif

lol. yeah, come to think of it, most ppl here just don't get the whole idea of being the devil's advocate. sometimes its very important to be brutally blunt and state whatever is wrong. I'm kinda glad with the turbulence that arsenal is going through now. because only by this we can improve. only through problems will there be solutions. hopefully, we find the solution soon. *cross fingers*

AW's transfer policy or the club's transfer policy?

Arsenal is the only club that made net profit over the last two seasons, meaning they have the money to spent (even if a little and given the stadium issue is almost settled). The club is prepared to give AW the financial backing he wants yet he chooses to spend it on unproven and unknown players bcos he thinks the "money is right and the player is right". Why on earth would you be spending money on attackers/forwards when you should really be improving on your defence, which flaws are so apparent?

i think we need to look at the bigger picture here. come to think of it, arsene is also a victim of circumstances. he wants to buy players yet clubs whom these players are tied to won't let these players go for cheap. they know we are in desperate need to improve our squad so they jack up the price. also, how sure are u that the board is willing to let arsenal spend all the money earned from fab and nasri ? for all we know, those guys from the boards are just a bunch of corrupt goons who syphon all arsenal's profit to lead their hedonistic lifestyle of money and sex ?

Let's move on from yesterday's game and move on to the transfer business going on from now until the deadline. I'm sure it will be much more interesting to be talked about. What's past is past, we still have 35 league games to go, its not the end of the world yet.

We have the most loyal manager in the world. Although he did some mistakes in the past few games, we should still be behind him. Its right for us to criticise, but think again when we think about sacking AW. The board trust him, the staffs trust him, the players trust him. So what do we have to lose by trusting him? This is just a hard phase for Arsenal at the moment, and we we ourselves are not that mentally strong to cope with this, yet we demand mental strength from the players. So who's walking on who's shoe now?

We can read the articles and comments made by the pundits and experts, just read it, don't believe it. When we believe it, we're getting influenced by it and hence we start raging to AW. Those articles are just thoughts from a normal people, they're just like us. So don't mind quoting to what they say. Just take what's positive from it, like what we do here in this thread, we discuss, we take the positive and ignore all the negatives and trolls.

31st of August is around the corner, so I'm sensing all of us are going to be excited just as the players are.
