Hi all situ,

My agents suggested to me Public Small Cap Fund. currently at 64 cents. Average for the past 11 years is about 64 cents too.

Do u suggest this fund? If yes, is this the right time to buy or wait till it drops to below average?

Thanks
*
if u invest lump sum, still can wait for cheaper price, or buy sikit sikit.
if DCA, u can start now.

ask ur agent do a plan for u within ur investment objective.

this is one of the best fund in PM.

What is service charge? will it be charged annually? If the NAV is RM 1/unit, so the service charge will be RM 0.0025, right?
I don't have Public Bank Account, is it possible for me to buy PB series mutual fund?
*
unit trust company sell units and manage it.

for the profit by selling the units, service charge applied. meaning unit trust company make profits by selling the units in the name of service charge. agents will get the commision from this service charge too for their services to clients. its applied 1 time only. not annual.

ur calculation is correct.

since unit trsut company need to manage the units, management fee, trustee fee and others (if any) will be applied accordingly annualy.

KLSE losing composure already.
Careful if you are opting lumpsum. Make sure your lumpsum is entered correctly..

If not, suggest you split your lumpsum into 2,3 or 4 parts

Market still bad today. its better to hold first for big fish.

*

the service charges is included in the RM5K (example), means the fund value will be 5.5% lesser than RM5K. In this case, I need to call PM office to check the charge if use other banks...thanks bro  notworthy.gif
*

Hi all, I am confused now.

So the price of each unit trust fund will be updated daily or weekly? I receive only weekly fund price report, I visit publicmutual website, the fund price is updated only once a week.

Does it mean each fund will be having the same price from Monday to Friday and the price to be renewed in the end of Friday?
*
fund price at publicmutual website will update daily. for local funds will update before mitnight. foreign fund only will update the next day. if the fund has local + foreign...will update next day too around afternoon.

Seems like the price nowadays is getting cheaper. I have extra cash to top up my pittikal but its still close. My other option is to go for other fund since i don't want to miss this opportunity. My agent recommend PISSF. What u guys think eh? what about PIEF?
*
u can include PIDF, PISEF too.

Guys, I just additional INVESTMENT in equity fund, eg. RM 5K  TWO weeks ago.

T0tal fund size = RM 55K (more than 2 months )
If I wan to switch , what is the charges ?
what 3 months rule, is this only apply to RM 5K portion ? Or the whole fund ? I mean kena charge RM 50..

So, can I SWITCH  just Part of it (eg. 40LK) to Bond without kena charge RM 50 ?
Just RM 25 normal charge only ?
*
if the units are before 90 days, the fees follow the fees before 90 days.

if u top up - the fee will be;

before 90 days fees for those units purchased before 90 days. and the rest folow after 90 days.

Aiyo... ask them faster get approval for ittikal la, sure many will go in and buy due to good track record. These few months Itikkal drop so much and cannot even top up. That is what I dont like on PM funds. Always close when wanna buy..
*
those closed equity funds re-open back except ittikal. i dont think so, it will open back since new ittikal SEQ fund launched.

old ittikal - moderate with free ins.
new - aggressive with free ins too.

i think this fund will get support due to similar ittikal name as well the free ins.
