Probably it's coz of tannin. I did boild, scrub, wash, soak the drifwood for 1 week ++. Hmm, what should i do to make the tank crystal clear water?

Take the wood out and put it in the toilet water tank, if it fits la. So every time you flush, you will be changing the water and it doesn't goes to waste...
Ya and change water around 20-30% a day, or just put activated carbon.

Not true. My otos have been with me for over a year now and still doing fine. Fat and healthy. Not even afraid of me anymore even I put hand near them.
Cause he wants to put them in a non filtered tank with guppies...

whitish cloudy.
i raed some articles that it was bacteria bloom when first starting tank.
but this tank already few months old. it does not have this problem when i first started it.
this condition started last month. until now, i had put almost 10scoops of bacter100, change water 10%-20% weekly.
Did you do anything to destroy the bacteria colony? Wash the filter recently? Added any antibiotics? Treated any blue green algae?
Any change to the tank before the clouding starts?
I think you stop with the bacter 100 first.
