I just had a look on YT of people using both programs, and Rainmeter looks SOOO complicated. WTH is it suppose to do again? Hahaha ^^

i cant seem to install driver from nvidia my hadrware id is 1247 cant find it on the driver i donwload. help me

for those that have problem updating to latest Nvdia driver....you all got install this???

The service center called me back again. But he couldn't offer me a good solution>.< He said not hardware problem coz if watch HD movie no problem also then shouldn't be hardware problem. While i told him other N55SF users with the same spec as mine didn't encounter this problem, and he dunno how to answer me also>.< I guess i'm the first to get this problem

i'm expecting because it didn't get enuff juice from the power brick.

i said regret for not waiting for n55,
as i bought n53sv series, which is lower spec than n53sn zzzz

I have got my N45SF and everything is fine except VGA
I could not run a game without any problem. I changed the setting in Nvidia control panel to run the games with Nvidia GPU but still some games are problematic and some of the like PES 2011 could not run.
In PES 2011 setting it says the GPU is Nvidia 555 but it says its ram is 64MB and it is less than enough and there is no way to change it.
I have downloaded the latest driver from Nvidia website but it said cannot find the suitable VGA to install the Driver and I am sure I choose the correct one.
Help

All of you guys have this problem?
All games are like this for example I installed Dirt 3 and I could not play because 1 second was 33 fps and one second 10 fps and same in Civilization.

It will solve the problem?

it seem many gaming issues with n55 series,
asus did not made any move with all this?

Anyone having same matte screen with this laptop..??
Should I felt lucky or unlucky having matte screen...??Cause really doesnt very know about difference between matte screen and glossy screen...

N45/N55SF definitely matte screen.....by looking at the videos posted by Simon

guys.. i just bought my asus n45sf. Few days back i had installed crysis warhead game, and i set the display setting at mainstream only.
But, unfortunately the game still not smooth. too much lagging. Is the optimus technology working? is there any setting that i can set to run this game smoothly at higher setting? thanks

Matte screens don't get glare or reflections on them; however, the same rough surface (polarizer) that reduces the intensity of reflected light results in less contrast and brightness since the light from the LCD screen passes through it. Matte screens diffuse light instead of reflecting it so they might be easier to read outdoors, if the backlight provides enough brightness.
