Dont have suddenly loud and suddenly soft problem..but sometimes when i watch movie,then if come out MSN notification or Facebook notification...the speaker will "bam" then lowers all the volume to the minimum..have to close the movie and reopens hmm.gif

Haiz,tat's y i rather do a clean format and install back Windows than scratching my head figuring wat bloatware to uninstall,how to solve problems and wat will happen if i uninstalled the wrong thing.

Nevertheless,try those method those sifus mentioned and see whether it works. Final move if everything fails is to format.

U r using N45 or N55?As i said earlier,if problems still persist and everything fails..do a clean format.Some of the bloatwares if u left there,it causes Window Explorer problem.Some if u uninstalled,then another problem.

First of all..the resolution is not even as stated above.N55SF core i5 gets HD+ resolution.Secondly,it's matte screen.And thirdly,since when it's 7200 RPM?

So far the N55SF core i5 we have here has HD+ resolutions,640Gb hard disk capacity (Not the 750Gb hard disk capacity) and matte screen.Perhaps the model u put there is not yet available.If u wanna buy,buy the current available model which is N55SF-SX2043V.It's far better than the 1 u put there,same specs but with HD+ resolution and matte screen.Plus the website u put...it says 500Gb 5400/7200 RPM.Not 100% 7200 RPM.Even the 640Gb is 5400 RPM.The one we have comes with 640Gb hard disk capacity.

Firstly,N45SF is having the underclock issue when u stress/heavy usage on the card such as gaming causing low FPS and thus lag.

Secondly,i heard the old driver is causing the Optimus not working properly.

U can download the latest driver from Nvidia website.If u got the "cannot find compatible hardware" error,then u have to mod the inf files.Or u can try wat zHo3 says.
