Haha.. very obvious that the main advantage of Insight is the hybrid technology. I got a friend told me, the fuel consumption of Altis is comparable to Insight. Altis is more spacious and more powerful too, considering it's 1.8cc with Dual VVTI. By adding 13k, I can get Altis which is different class of car d. What do u guys say?

What do u find the most excitement of driving Insight car compare to others (same range of coz)? 

Do u mean Insight is any time better than Altis in term of fuel consumption?

In term of functionalities, things like auto wiper, auto lights on, keyless entry (does it mean I just need to press the button to start the car without turning the key like conventional way?) sound very cool to me, in which I don't think Altis has it.

total damage for 4th service is RM251.17
breakdown as below:

1.Labour          - RM58.50
2.Engine oil      - RM117.41
3.Washer Drain - RM2.10
4.Oil Filter        - RM30.68
5.Alignment      - RM30
6.Balancing      - RM35

Done my 15k service last week.

By default, they are using SM 5W-30 Engine Oil (Semi) (RM99.80) and not the mineral oil as stated from honda website.
Remember to claim the RM40 e-voucher. The first bill they issue only deduct RM 20 for the e-voucher, but after verify again and they made some several calls, they issue me another bill with the deduction of RM40. 

The next service (20k) will be very expensive!! RM 400 plus.. sweat. sweat...

They give 15% discount on the semi sync engine oil, so is 117.41 - 15% . Will upload the invoice for my 5th service due in another month.

Eh? I tot from the Honda website stated 4th service is RM181.50?? anyhow since we service every 5k, dun waste money on semi-syn oil

just to share.
sent my ride for 20k km service and checked on the engine jerk and unstable acceleration issue.

i was told to change air filter, reset CVT and service regularly (WHICH I DID).
anyway, I have no choice but to use FULLY Syn engine oil as the SemiSyn-Oil is out of stocks!!

well, I must say, my IN2 is now MUCH nicer to cruise around, smoother engine (which originally already very smooth), battery easily fully charged, higher FC, now i can cruise for 820km for 30L petrol. i could feel that the engine is much much more responsive than before now.

anyway, high price to pay for the engine oil and total 20k km service. cost me RM513!!

See that the Carbon filter is about 90rm. Probably can get cheaper outside. Any one wanna to try the guide below to DIY?
Or can we actually opt not to replace, do the SC allow?

car in service center for 10k service now.

ask about the it is possible to bring own engine oil and the SA say ok but void the warranty on the engine part. then i ask them how about engine oil from honda and he say impossible u can buy it outside...meaning at melaka service center i also cant take my own engine oil except i want to risk on the engine warranty..haiz..

then i ask about the balance of the engine oil, how come no return to me. the SA say insight use 4liter >.< n no more left...maybe later after i get the car i should check the engine oil level n hope they dont overflow it...look like service the car at authorize service center also cant have piece of mind...

believe it's the facelift version of insight coming in, so it's the good chance for them to increase price, means insight will be sold  over rm 100k ?

Don't think it's the FL version, price probably will increase 1-2k just like previous increment after tsunami. This is wat SA told me.

Just got a stand still race with a Altis 2.0 Dual VVTI CVT....

Insight can keep up with Altis up to 140km/h then small 1.3 engine start to get out of breath...

Conclusion... the torque is AWESOME!!!

Went to Kah Motor Puchong Service Center (the one near the Tesco Puchong U-Turn flyover) to do my 10k service. Mentioned to the service advisor that my car have a quite a loud and prominent whistling sound coming probably from somewhere behind the dashboard on passenger side when driving at around 100km/h. No sound before 100km/h and the sound also disappear after 110km/h. The sales advisor say will get technician to drive out and test, so service will take longer than usual (he mentioned 1 and a half hour).

Walking around, I noticed my car was actually parked in the parking lot most of the time (only went into the workshop for about 20 minutes). I waited close to 3 hours and still car not ready so I go ask whether it's ready. The service advisor told me technician did test drive but did not hear any whistling sound when driving at 100km/h so ask me to come back and check again if I still hear the sound. I was wondering how come the car could have been driven out of the service center for the test drive without me noticing it, maybe I actually overlooked.

Now come the disappointing part, when I get into my car and start the engine, I noticed the milage at the MID was exactly the same reading as when I send in the car! I was like, wow, they can bring the car to 100km/h in less than 1km mileage recorded in odometer?

I didn't know Kah Motor Puchong have a wind tunnel facility inside them to test wind noise at high speed without the need of actually driving the car into highway, or, they actually have the capability to reset my odometer back to original mileage after their test drive.

I supposed service engineers normally felt car owners are just fussy, wind noise during high speed is a normal thing and a lot of the complains are just psychological effect of the car owners always wanting their car to be in perfect condition, and since it is under warranty, car owners will complain on every small things they could find.

I was in hurry so I do not have much choice and I did not make a fuss out of it, since I had wasted 3 hours sitting down there assuming they actually took my car out for test drive.
