For me to get this S2,  I have a long story to tell.

I went to KLCC Maxis Center 3 times, with the confirmation from the customer service support that KLCC got the stock, but end up empty hand back home. 
So  I have learn the lesson, NEVER TRUST Maxis customer service support information for the handphone availability!  So you have to try your luck to walk-in to the Maxis Center!  Hopefully, not endup like me.

But on the other hand, I feel Digi Service center is much better, I left my contact number to them 2 time at the Gardens, and they did call me to inform that was stock availability in the service center.

Then I ended up to buy S2 from digi roadshow at LYP cause got free gift -Samsung bluetooth.

back in v11, I recall a few owners who said they wiped their phones daily. feeling embarrassed, I decided to also clean my phone. even used liquid soap and damp tissue to wipe the screen (with sp).

shortly after that, I needed to send a message. that's when I realized... it's near impossible to swype on a SQUEAKY CLEAN screen...

these were the ones that were problematic. the rest were erratic. not consistent.

Anyway... flashing back lite'ning... seemed more stable.

Oddly my SME phone supposed to have 2 years warranty but i just checked by sending PC<space>IMEI to 62002, and it states I have only 1 year warranty.

always get my csc/modem/kernal or rom from xda

What are the chances of Samsung releasing a new S2 in da coming months? Rumours say that it would be a LTE version. Mostly like aiming at us market. HTC vigor also. Arggg should I get sgs2 nw ? Lol

which branch? do you have the kies cd?

hmmm I think if yours is Maxis set then the warranty should be from Maxis ... anythign can throw back to them like how I did the iPhone .. my S2 is from normal shop

Guys (and uncle benny), the above just happened to me again today  !!!! @#$#@%#^#!

This time I was in the cinema. Middle of movie, checked my phone, again the above happened with a missed call. Stupid weird 'bootlooping', touchscreen unresponsive at the Enter PIN page..............so i got home and tried to narrow down the damn problem.

It seems that there is a problem with missing calls on my phone (not sure if the problem is just on my phone or not). I restored using CWM and tried to test it as how I had been using it before the damn thing happened again. It's confirmed that everytime I missed a call when the phone is idle, the damn 'bootloop' happens, and there is no way to recover it, remove battery, restart phone. Had to restore/reflash the phone.

I'm on KH3 firmware from samfirmware.com and I dont remember this problem present on previous firmwares.

Just posting it here in case it happens to someone. Damn it , still a bit pissed off. 

Edit:- 2.24am - Reflashed to KH1 firmware. Problem solved, missed calls doesnt 'bootloop' the phone anymore.
Edit: - 3.01am - Reflashed to KH3 firmware to try again. KNN  , as soon as a missed call comes in, the damn 'bootloop' happens again. Note: ALL SYSTEM APPS AND DATA restored using titanium backup on both KH1 and KH3.

just want to inform miui latest build 1.8.26 already upload at xda.

Is the above spec based on fact or rumours?
More power BUT still on dual cores plus bigger HD screen somemore.

But IF got quad cores..NOW that's tempting :-)

Did you read about Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.5GHz quad cores.?
Things do coming out bigger and bigger.!!

If the PC system is anything close, quad-core only adds heat and consumes more power. Apps are not even optimised for dual core yet, what say quad?

Btw, even the supposedly Tegra optimised Riptide GP ran smoothly with CPU capped at 800mHz on my S2.

hey guys do u know how to remove the unread message count on the default message app? im using third party message app to replace the default messaging and i already disable the notification, but the unread sms count still shows at the message icon there at home screen. any idea how to disable it?

white... i recall one owner used a white casing with white sp... from the photo posted, if i recall, it looked quite authentic leh... that was many, many V ago...

tried to search the old V for white, but the post din show up.

Both original SGSII and LTE use touchscreen. Only thing is LTE a little bigger, more powerfull, support various network band and more internal memory (32GB)
