Hi Fren

I have problem in deciding which color to use for my car porch. I like grey but there are some negative feedback saying that grey is not easy to maintain and it will make the entire car porch look dirty. I want to know how true is that?

Thanks

Avoid any light colours as they tend to show out when dirty. Furthermore, more difficult to maintain.
Avoid those rough surface tiles as it will be very difficult to clean. Dirt gets collected and difficult to scrub.

Not sure abt MML rustic tile.
My opinion is to avoid those white, light beige colours that can stain easily. Plus those that are rough in the surface or those slate like. need more effort to clean them. Of course, if you have a full time hardworking maid, then Ok la...

well, if you talking about car porch than you should get are "Rough surface" tiles, as that was area that rain / water and your car parking area, you didn't want to have a smooth layer.

Not only should non-slip, high mechanical strength tiles be considered, smaller-sized tiles with more grout lines may provide additional slip resistance and can be another option.

You can just ask them to recommending car porch tile with your prefer colour, with only Grey will really look dark, maybe mixed with Venilla colou?

+1 to the rough surface.

Colour wise, i think dark brown should be the best for car porch maintenance.

Agree that darker colours helps. But if you use those very rough surface, wait till you have to clean the dirt accumulated.
Of course, if you don't mind the dirt, then no problem...

Cos, I see my maid having difficulty in really clean the surface. She really have to work hard at brushing them. Even that, also not very clean. If you can live with than, then Ok la...
Is all up to individual preference. Some people don't mind...

High pressure water jet actually help saving water. Just like using shower can save more water as compare to the conventional 'kong kong' tongue.gif

Yup, a picture speak more than a thousand words.
Maybe he is referring to those deep tiles jointing which might be some how a bit difficult to clean.
