Between everlast and strongman ladder, which 1 is better for single sided ladder? Only looking those around rm80-130.
single sided A-frame ladder (not single pole "telekom" ladder) ya?first select the range (whether home use only or commercial duty) dependng on your/crew weight and what you gonna do.
for lightweight people (like me) I never bent the step on any ladder before.
however for heavier people and if you are aircon ODU installation work (+40kg for >2hp) please get a commercial duty (130-150kg rated) one. otherwise the step from -- flat shape will become like u shape.
I still have an everlas single sided A frame about 8ft in good condition, its quite old since the 90s. Steps didn't deform but again, I'm lightweight.
Only complain the rubber feet on the non usable side tend to jam when closing (since day 1). Double sided A frame doesn't have such issue.
I also bought a no name 11ft ladder for ceiling painting for ~130 or 140 in 2008.
Last year I picked up a 16 step commercial dury everlas W frame (foldable 4 part telekom ladder or can be A frame 8 step), was thrown into dustbin, but I knew these were not cheap, since ppl throw away I brought it home.
I got spare part from Everlas HQ and fixed it. W ladder resurrected
