QUOTE(crapp0 @ Sep 9 2011, 09:01 PM) Singaporeans and malaysians are basically indistinguishable from one another. Yeah position but often not the quality. The majority of the singaporeans whom i've met have mistaken me for a singaporean which is irritating at times. True they see according to the colour of your skin but thats not always the case, an example would be the china man. But what trumps that is the position and company that your being employed. If say a bangla man is in an executive position, then people would respect the position he/she is in more so then the colour of his/her skin. Indians, Banglas are in a way timid, not many voice out their thoughts, probably language barrier, probably also due to their culture where they listen and not to retaliate words from superior. |

QUOTE(tayhaithian @ Sep 26 2011, 09:01 PM) So sudden I have the thought to ask for salary increment after the 3rd months in the company. The reason is that my job scope is too heavy and rather like a 3 person(I'm one of it) show in an international company (Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Thailand, and etc.) I'm hardly take a breath, sometimes have to work 9pm or 10pm and even on Saturday and Sunday without OT pay just to meet the dateline. The job is nonstop and lining up to November already. I wonder I should have request for it or remain my sit to suffer for this 2 years at least.... I suggest speaking to your supervisor regarding your work load. Salary increment wont help if you are forced to this for the next 2 years. |

QUOTE(wickedghost @ Oct 22 2011, 07:38 AM) Thank You...Just got lucky to be hired by them...Got lots offer from Technics, Dynamac, Takada, and few small cos, not easy to make the decision. There is - no laptop, certain events for staff only, no bonus but replaced with OT, less claims, less medical benefit,Btw, never heard of LYN Big4. What are they doing?Inspection as well? Added on October 22, 2011, 8:10 amJust one last question, Is there any cases that EM discriminates contract or manpower supplied staffs? Will they draw border line eg. probably some activities or courses you cant join or maybe laptops will be given to perm. staff only... Anyone come across this situation? |

QUOTE(Lester1987 @ Oct 30 2011, 12:44 PM) There are 3 bus schedule after 7pm. Thanks.7PM, 7:45pm and 9pm. if you are going back on the eve of public holiday or holiday week, better buy in advance... Bus company's offering the service would be KKKL and Delima. My friend recommend KKKL. PS : My friend travel JB-Melaka every weekend. So this is the advice given by him |
