MOM might reject ur EP when u move to the new company coz they scare that u are a job hopper.

to apply for a new pass, they need to cancel ur old pass la. just like my case, company upgrade my pass. MOM will cancel my old pass 1st then only approve the new one.

If you're holding for a S Pass or EP, you can apply for another S-Pass or EP .
Before you do the E-Issuance, you must cancel the previous pass.

Approval still subject to MOM.

They will question you why you do that. Prepare for good reason.
But, if you're holding WP now, you must cancel the WP first in order to apply another pass.

Take it from me mate, I job hopped. joined first company 1 1/2 months later quit to join second company. EP got rejected for the first time, called up MOM ask why, as usual they dont give reason, ask company to appeal. company submitted appeal, then MOM request for the followings;

1) hard copy, chopped & signed offer letter
2) A letter from the hiring company stating why they believe my skills sets are needed within the company
3) reference letter from you from your previous company
4) re-submit Educational qualifications

and it took them another 5 weeks to revert.

so lesson learn, dont mess with MOM.

in principle approval 3-4 working day, my fastest encounter 
i seen my peer drag to almost 2 week before

approve in a day ?    best of luck then , not audit line
