I will be staying around Bukit Indah/ gelang patah area and i dont know whehter this would be the wisest choice... BUT one thing for sure is that i wont be taking MRT or cab that often...any more...

Cost wise, after considering the toll n erp, i will be paying a few hundred extra BUT i got a car n can go back hometown more often..

hhmmm...
Few pointer which might help your consideration;

Bukit Indah
Pro
- Surrounding by amenities i.e Giant, Tesco, Jusco, banks etc
- More option if u r considering of a fully furnished house
- More bandar style
- Lots of rumah urut cool2.gif
Cons
- Far as compared to gelang patah-tuas
- Crime rate / dark share (kongsi gelap tongue.gif ) is on higher side

Gelang Patah
Pro
- Nearer to tuas
Cons
- Lack of amenities but suffice enuf for basic needs
- More kampung style

I'm staying in Gelang Patah @ Setia Eco Gardens, a G&G housing area. Why? Just becoz I have frens there besides to reduce daily commute time. My advise if u want to stay either of these location, better to find G&G area as pecah rumah case rate is quite high especially if u hv family. Renting still cheaper as compared to a single room HDB rent in Spore. However end of d month I will need to go to Bukit Indah to deposit money if I'm not going back to KL..

For DBS/POSB saving plus account, you gotta maintain an average of 1K per day or you'll be charged $2.
