Before I tried feeding her water she was just lame and doesn't move. After I tried to feed her, drip from the water bottle, she convulsed as it it pained her so much to drink. I'm suspecting internal at this point.
I've covered her with tissue and event placed a lump between her paws so that she has more room to breath. Been stroking her and talking to her. Seems calmed for now despite difficulty in breathing. Peeing and pooing on the spot where she's lying.
Its normal, that's what happens when they are dying. So hamsters goes off easily, probably die in their sleep & some like what you & I experienced. I found my hamster in same situation as you in the morning (not sure what time it started) & he pass away ~6pm. Meaning half a day he was breathing heavily & on top of that I was on my way to penang. So took him together, keep feeding water but he was too weak. At ipoh I asked a vet, he said when they are dying their nerve becomes like that (like paralyze). Not sure la, I dont have much experience with dying hamsters so not sure that vet is reliable or not either.
But yeah same experience, its like his back bone is broken or what...not moving & breathing heavily. Body got too weak btw, by 3pm his body is super soft already & temperature also not that warm anymore...

I have one hammie named Pepper, he's getting slow and slower, and skinny too. His fur is still in goo condition. Is he becoming old? I'm sad cuz he is my first ever tamed hammie. Aged about 1.5 yo
And one more thing, anyone knows the best method to stop hammies from fighting? My two hammies are male, but one is bigger fatter than the other, and they fight a lot until blood spills. Now separating them, which is quite sad they look lonely. Anyone knows the best method?
Fights happens, only solution is to separate it. You can try to introduce them again after 1 month or so with an eye on them, if still fights then no choice but to keep them separate.
