Added on October 7, 2011, 3:45 pmPaiseh, i got 1 noob question. Wat is the different between resin model and those got opening model?

Resin model is made from resin. Diecast is made from metal cast. hahahahaahhahh!!! dont know if that's help.
but resin model nowadays is more cheaper cost than diecast. Diecast is getting expensive each year. One advantage of resin model is you wont have a bubble effect on certain surface on the model itself. A lots of models have such bubble effect on the hood, roof and bonet of the model, it could be due to malaysia climate high humidity. I have asked several europe collectors and they seems to dont have problems. Models like kyosho, minichamps and autoart have lots of such thing happen, but so happen cheap model like maisto or bburago dont have. Beat me! i really dont know why!
But still lots of ppl like diecast because of the opening features, but not for me. giving u a model with lots of opening features, few years later it grew bubble, the models is useless and worthless. I would say resin models have more accurate details than diecast but their parts are fragile. Its a very precision model. I see many of collectors in Low Yat still display their model with doors closed. The opening features is actually just for fun only when u take the model out from the cabinet and look. Frankly speaking, displaying models with opening doors in a long period would results the mechanical hinges expand that the next time when you close the door back, it wont close tight. Still I would say, if you really like to see the details inside, why not just buy 1 covertible and 1 coupe like f430 and f430 spider.
the cost of diecast is rising more faster than resin model. sooner or later when everyone cant afford diecast, they will switch to resin. Even manufacturer is now considering resin model as the process for moulding a model is faster than diecast. One advantage of resin models is their limitation thus the value shall remain and very rarely depreciate.
