Your friend can go to bank for apply loan. If the car loan is settle already, the record would not show on the ccris record. According you said, is many years ago. So the ccris record is gone. but if he want to confirm cant check for CTOS.for so many year (more than 5 years), he didnot loan any money from the bank.
