Hi,

I'd like to make a personal loan but so far i was told by Alliance Bank that they (and most banks) wont approve the application if i have no credit history. Currently i only have a credit card which i got in January 2013. The person said if i have had that card for more than a year then it might be possible, but if not it is likely to be rejected.
Apparently having no commitments such as car loans, housing loans or even ASB loan makes it hard for me to get a loan.
I have been working for 2 years, private sector, salary slightly more than rm3500, no commitments.
Is there any banks that offer personal loan for my case?

Normally bank nowdays minimum requirement will be 6 months or 12 months ccris record.
Simple answer : Beside than supporting document, bank will go thru your previous payment record. Why ? Bcoz the bank don't know you, so the bank will go thru your previous payment history and supporting document to determine client risk level, details, income & etc.
