It was far more glitchy than BC2 beta.

Falling through the terrain, rubber banding is back, like BC2 Beta, campers everywhere at the first MCOM site, then, missile spam in the second last MCOM, the sound quality and variety isnt even close to BC2 level, Operation Metro is a boring map, no vehicles for most players, glitchy animations and gun models, Battlelog being a pain to use, ie: saying the game is not updated, random disconnection (maybe its my internet), cant queue to join a server and looks like Facebook (subjective, but i hate how it looks like) and the thing that worries me the most Caspian Border is said to be quite laggy when you have 64 players.

The plus point is, the destruction are much much better, classes works better, no more die and revive and rinse and repeat, graphics is better in some way.

I am considering to cancel my pre-order and buy a cheaper copy from Playasia. Its not worth spending so much for such a glitchy game, as i doubt DICE can fix it in 1 month's time.

Its just my first impression. It is really bad and it feels BF3 is overhyped.

I need to play more though.

I felt like playing Mirror's Edge except this time I get an AK.

3GB(probably more?) day 1 patch, just like any other game that's coming out this year

BC2 is still my comfort zone.. i need to get used to BF3
its difficult to strafe in this game

well new engine so there are a lot of stuff they need to fix...but after playing it..kinda agree....there are too many glitches

i seriously hate battlelog....i just dont get it...why cant they just put it inside the game...sigh...origin is nice tho...better than steam...

Same here...playing back BC2 and the feel is like so smooth. I have this feeling in my mind when i play bf3 "ARGH!! MOVEEEEEEEE FORWARD EHHH"

Was kinda disappointed with the game thanks to the lousy metro map. But just finished playing Caspian Border and holy **** im impressed :D:D:D!!!!

and the game feels like hardcore mode. 2 shots dead.

Installed the new driver update 285.something, no more freezing. Playing at Ultra is awesome. But I put it in window mode, pening.


And I cant find the Caspian Border map? No server has that, only Metro 24/7

I tot it was my uni line but it wont start up in Chrome so I switched to Firefox, poof into the game.

Very buggy, you can see when ppl crouch on stone, suddenly their neck before very long and also sometimes got some flickering..

Game play wise, totally different than BC2. I hate those torch light pointed to my face. Somehow the audio also quite low.

Do you guys feel like it's so hard to spot enemy? I tried the spot key but doesnt seems to work like it will come out toot toot toot and no red mark on it.

Guns and character looks so small, really hard to see enemy from far especially with a lot crouch camping.

so what ur average fps u get from ur 6870 xfire?

yup quite hard...maybe coz i havent unlock attachments yet i guess so dont have proper scope? i keep pressing that Q button when i see movement or i think got enemy...

& yeah that flashlight is really annoying...worst if your team members have it...cant see properly so i think that is enemy

Yeap. Spotting seems weird. Sometimes you can sometimes you can't. And I prefer the map system in Bc2 (at least in caspian border). You'll only view portion of the map during spawn mode. And the map is huge so I get lost all the time or spawn far far away.

still download 81% do i need other software to see FPS

and also frostbite destruction 2.0 isn't tht pronounce in bf3 at least not in operation metro..

you should change your play style and try to learn different way of playing

some map require you to push with your team and need to be extra caution when advance, for example, open field battle like caspian border

some map suitable for COD players, which mean you can use gun-and-shot method, i go that a lot in BC2 in oasis conquest and arica harbor conquest
