Yup..confirmed. I dont know how friendly is battlelog. I can now foresee myself closing down the whole game coz disconnected and re-run it from the browser again. Time for more rams and some SSDs.
every1 is disappointed since EA decided tht bf3 is nt going to be on Steam, then you MUST need origin to play, then you cant change your Origin name, then your origin name is your bf3 in game name, then 1 account with only 1 character basis, then must launch through battlelog, then..*more to come*
I dono why my bc2 on Origin is effed up. I couldnt start it and it says ready to install which i already did. Maybe my comp has 2 bc2 which messed everything up.
You buy if you think it will be beneficial to you and worth your money. If you already know the existing problems , don't even bother buying it until it's fixed.
thts wht im trying to compare...its the same analogy. I know the antenna issue is still there on iphone 4. But i got it anyway coz i like iphone 4. Battlefield 3 sucks at the battlelog thing...but i still pre-ordered it.
neh after we preorder then only EA start to reveal the "flaws" of it, b4 this they are showing the GOOD stuffs first... tempt us first then BAM smack us in the face!
As long its Limited Edition i think since LE users will have 3 stuff warfare packs back to karkand map packs
LE does not always come with physical warfare pack. It depends on your game supplier/seller. LE means u have back to karkand map for free when it comes out.
i m using gtx560 Ti & i can max out almost all the games in 1080p. only crysis 2 with the new patch cant really max out everything...need to lower down 2-3 settings. so i think there shouldnt be a problem la to run in 1600x900.
u should know bf3 graphic is a lot than crysis with high detail patch. Especially with 64 players around and the game physics..
from what i read so far from this thread, gtx560Ti is the reccomended card, but with what kind of setting? med, med-hi, or hi?
u think my gtx460 (zotac amp) can handle med (maybe med-hi)?
Since when a company reccomends a card which is able to run the game at MAX. This is definitely going to give them the down side as people may just want to pass this game since they do not have such powerful card. I am guessing bf3 u need at least 570 for 1080 to max out or SLI with lower cards.
yeah i know...well we shall see when the beta comes out. if problem also nvm la...just sell my old graphic card & get the new gen card next year. during sem break can work part time ma
yea im also waiting for the BETA 1st...then see how.
Hmm guys look at this AMD A8 Hybrid CrossFireX with HD6670..
His settings: 1920x1080 Level of Details: Medium Texture: High Shadow: Medium Effects: Medium AA: 2x MSAA AF: X8
Here is the multiplayer with 32 players and preset MEDIUM setting.
My E2180@3.4GHz and Asus EAH5770 CuCore 900MHz/1300MHz 1920x1080 Level of Details: High Texture: High Shadow: Medium Effects: Medium AA: 1x MSAA AF: X16
Only manage to get 2X-3X fps ..... only sometimes got 4X fps..
I am 100% sure that your CPU is not enough to run the game adequately. Your fps was limited by ur CPU.

How about mine?? I know its an outdated version and some of u might doubt my spec will work(Its a 2008 rig ><), but I wanna know some of your opinions will my spec run BF3 MP? Some say can run as long its low settings, some say it wont even support 16 players in the map(FTW) and the most wackiest answer is with directx11 is enuf adi(WTF). I can play BFBC2 SP with Advanced settings(All max) in 1680x1000+ reso since my lcd screen is 27 inch..I know it sounded repetitive but i need assurance from u all..If not, I might need to ditch the pc ver and go for the PS3 one(need to up rm30 for TSB ><)..Here are the specs and giv me ur honest opinions and comments(Plzz dont say upgrade, i dont think i can upgrade this year )
Manufacturer: System manufacturer Processor: IntelĀ® Core2 Duo CPU E7200 @ 2.53GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.5GHz Memory: 4096MB RAM Hard Drive: 79 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1)
You need at least quad core to play the game smoothy. I have a 3 cores CPU b4..and it lagged badly in bc2. I got only around 30 to 50 (60max) fps in bc2. After upgrading the cpu..immediately jumped up to 70~90 fps with the same GPU.
thanks for the link...not bad...not bad...so gtx560 Ti fps is quite good...havent include driver support plus game performance optimization...so maybe can play at high settings
Don forget Alpha was running at DX9 from what i have heard.. the real game is in DX11...i estimate a drop of 5~10% in fps from tht estimated graphs. Not trying to 'pour cold water' here..but expect the worst to avoid big disappointment lol.

So can i just use core 2 duo to play till the lowest(Dont know how low can go LOL) settings? I could reduce the lag rate by reducing reso to maybe at least 1080x900( Since I still wan some eyecandy), if no choice till 800x600...
If your CPU is really holding back your GPU...reducing settings/resolution will not increase the FPS(maybe 5fps increase only). This is the case that happened to my old rig. You should know that BC2 is a CPU dependent game.
Hmm alright..If the Cpu is the one causing hell..I think i will just switch the cpu to quad core or the i series...Gonna have to change motherboard and ram...
You have pre ordered from origin right? Wait for the beta and see how it goes. If the fps is good enough for you..then no need upgrade. Or save up for the new intel lga2011 and new series of gtx6xx and hd7xxx gpu.
