What is "exhaust setup"?

i heard some one said only Persona non PE can tune the paddle, PE cannot tune paddle

so sad, mine is PE...cannot tune!!

i got offer from my fren..he wan change his gen2 ady.and he asked whether interested change my engine wit him or not..his engine is mivec ck auto triptronic..all standard and condition is ok..i only need top up RM1k..and plus the installation fee is around RM3000..

yalo..top up RM1k to him and pay the own transplant fee..ya,i wanna ask,if v want convert to cps,is it need change engine?i saw half cut cps is RM4.5k lo..dunno how much our engine can trade in..or v juz change to cps head and ecu,then is ok?the 2nd head cps is RM1k.;but dunno where to buy cps ecu lo..

one of cari member has use his PE auto test wit his fren gen2 cps auto at kesas highway..0-200 langsung cant chase cps lo..

I saw once ppl sell whole set campro IAFM 1.6 engine for 7k. But that was a while ago. Just customize & change ur normal IAFM to CPS lah. For wat wan go get halfcut n all. Waste time waste money very troublesome samore. RM 3k only ma for CPS set.

u means new head cps and wiring cps?so still can use bec IAFM?

just start the project of modify NA lar... i believe NA engine still can go further if modify gaogao...

mine one never below 20 cents for me, even on highway tho...

can get 2nd hand persona cps?i got one seller of cps head and wiring harness ady..will discuss price wit him on 2moro..finally,i decided will give up the mivec engine since it cant use bec the abs function lo..convert the cps is more better

how much he convert to cps?can help me to ask him?FC is ok lo..since i onli travel 10km everyday onli..power wise more important lo..

Really? PE gearbox also can use toyota transmission oil? I tot can only proton's SP-III..

If fake castrol edge, your engine would be dead by now..
As I told you before.. my castrol edge turn black on 5.5k 90% black 10% gold
Last month I had done my 25k service and I had travel 1.5k with castrol edge..
the colour of edge turned to 30% black and 70% gold 

btw, now my car rev to 5k-6k rpm, my dashboard got sound..
It's like something is not in correct position.. donno how to explain

I think most of you relate lube turning black = no good. After speaking to quite a few actually working in the lube industry, it is almost ascertain....BLACK got NOTHING to do with lube good or not.

If your engine got soot and contaminants, a good lube will be able to suspend those contaminant in the oil itself. Thus if your engine is a bit dirty, your oil will turn brownish black even at 2-3K mileage.

Its one of the KEY FUNCTION of a good lube to suspend those contaminant in the oil. It had no affect whatsover on the addictives and lubrication function. However when the oil START to turn honey like. Thats the symptom, its at the end of life of the lube where the contaminant is either too much or the addictives to keep the contaminant from forming sludge worn out. We should avoid honeylike oil from forming thus usually 5K mileage oil change is recommended to prevent this from happening. When it happen, some sludge might have been formed, a bit late.

So if your lube start turning black even at 2K, its might means the detergent function is doing its job and the oil is holding those contaminant in suspend...don't worry if using good lube, the addictive will keep the dirt apart from forming sludge.

Not so sure if its fake, if engine lose power or oil turn honeylike after 2-3K, then better check if not engine issue, change the lube out fast if suspect its fake.

Heard even petronas also got fake (not sure) as sometimes even spare part shops also can't differentiate thus unless you got a reliable source, you might not want to risk it. Thats why some buy from petrol station although more expensive. Peace of mind....sure no fake if buy from Petronas station for example. Hypermarket like Tesco also should not have fake coz they will be in trouble if they sell fake even unintentionally.

One of the main reason I still in doubt on magnatec...especially many of you say even after 5K, still mostly golden....mostly golden....not much contaminant suspend in there...where does the contaminant goes. Stick to the engine? Either that or the engine very clean. So far, I have not use a lube than still remain mostly golden after 5K...even those good expensive lube will turn brownish after 5K at our weather and dusty environment...

To clarify, when I say engine oil black, it is not really black. More like light or dark brown BUT still transparent. That is normal.

If it is really a non translucent black.....its time to change oil. Usually the non transparent black also comes with a bit of honeylike feel already and contaminant is over the oil suspension limit. If only 3K mileage, maybe its a low quality lube or a fake.

If used lube at 8K mileage only a bit brownish....I not sure if its detergent function or contaminant suspension is working very well. So still have doubt but maybe magnatec has a different tech for that.

Btw...I mention a few times liao. Magnatec in Malaysia is a semi. Should use up to 5K only. If FS, still debatable..

cannot find any info for this type of spry that EA using, dunno what type of spry they gonna use... i know there are another type of chemicle when expose to air it will become foam that are widely use for chiller ducting contractor will it be the same type ?

v can view the foam 1st at his shop..then juz decide..according the comment from the user,it is good and the product similiar wit autofoam or profoam..dun wori..i will ask his sunday got open or not..if open,then u can join us..
