The ECU firmware problem only occurs to early model of PE ka? Is there any current production PE facing the same problem?

QUOTE(jackyap84 @ Aug 18 2011, 09:10 AM) follow up with my case, Serdang sc called me and inform problem due to battery weak. suggesting me change to DIN55R at RM290. if tak tak tak sound, for sure battery not enough power to kick the starter.. other electrical component might react the same since the battery is enough to power them up but not strong enough to power the starter motor..Zeng, u r right. not the crank sensor faulty, is battery weak. i think we have to update the 1st page for this issue. for my case, alarm, horn, light, radio and etc... all running well when the battery weak, just cannot start the car. when cranking, just can hear tak tak tak sound and no respon, and the light on meter will going haywire... i believe everyone here can take note and no need tow ur car to anyone before trying to change battery urself or jumpstart ur car. this can save the towing fee. anyway, have anyone tried using Bendix Titanium CT brake pads? any review on this? |

I love PE for its fuel consumptions.. 12 cents hiway @ 120kmh, 17 cents urban driving is considered good enough for me.. If want more power, for sure fuel cost will increase.. PE is good..

QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Aug 23 2011, 02:42 AM) I'm using magnatec also for my 5k km service last saturday.. Now have clocked 6k++ km already.. So far, I don't see/feel significant difference between magnatec and SC's Syntium 800 used on my 1k km service.. Later 10k km, I might wanna try Eneos proracing 5-40.. Hopefully there will be noticeable difference.. |

QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Aug 30 2011, 01:16 AM) Alphard, Veilfire, Estima all have speed limiter at 180kmh lah.. U try to speed with them from 0-180 and see.. Sure u suck dust like no mans business.. Once they reached 180kmh their gears are maxed out and the limiter will be there to kick in.. In fact, all stock japanese car were like that.. Even stock R34 skyline also have maxspeed of 180kmh.. |
