Hi all. I am on house reno now. Currently deciding to go either for flat bar grill (4mm thick) or just the standard hollow bar type (1.2mm thick at four sides). Which one should I go for which is more anti theft?

It is almost the same. If I'm the theft I ll cut the supporting steel embedded in the wall instead. Cutting the middle part is so much work.

"A chain is only as strong as its weakest link" the rabbit ears where the padlock goes..that is the weakest entry point and can be defeated with a 9 bucks mini hacksaw like this one: https://shopee.com.my/product/40402659/2578...38-1638384715.9

Aside from additional chains and additional padlocks, any better idea how to secure them rabbit ears?

If really want hard to bend, double 1x1 SHS frame (weld together become 2x1 like a number 8) and stuff 10mm rebar inside. brows.gif why so overengineered?

Because criminals also use car jack to break the grille bars, don't make the voids too big, then the hydraulic jack cannot fit.
Manual scissor jack will fit everywhere but require more effort.
