i just got back from gnc in wangsa walk. and yeah, the promotion is until 31st august.
might buy the 5lbs ON 100% whey, its just rm149 after discounts. and the buy 1 and get the 2nd item for half (for supplements) are kinda attractive as well. looks like i have to apply for the VIP card as well.
i checked the expiry date and its in 2013.

do you guys think its worth it to apply for the card? since i read that gnc sells at a more expensive price. do they do promotions like this a lot? or is it a one-off thing?

Yep you can do that. This was the case when I got a few tubs of casein during the last promotion. They called me a few days later to inform me that they had restocked and I could come pick it up.
