QUOTE(tobleronesss @ Jul 10 2016, 11:00 PM) Alright, let me know later if you're still interested. What is the level fitness of you guys? And if you'd like to, you can also join my group members train, normally at Nuang. Cheers! 7days and everyday hike for 8-10hr is no joke. Even trans Nuang I haven't try yet. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Jul 11 2016, 10:25 AM) What is the level fitness of you guys? Our fitness level varies from average to very fit. Some are fast, some are steady but we don't really hike with speed because we'd like to enjoy some sightseeing on the way. Those who are fast will usually go ahead while the slower ones can just chill. 7days and everyday hike for 8-10hr is no joke. Even trans Nuang I haven't try yet. But of course, you should be able to hike continuously daily and carry your own load. Some of our members are fast, but can't carry load so that's why this time we're hiring a porter. If you ask me, the trip is alright one because we can rest at night time before continuing the next day. Just make sure you eat enough and rest well for the night. Unlike Nuang, where you finish the trans in a day. |

Hi... I'm not quite sure where to post this question but seemed like here got many hiking kaki, so I thought I post my question here
Just found out about Gunung Reskit in Pahang, but a cursory Google search did not provide me with much info. Anyone here know anything about this 'elusive' gunung? I'm planning for a hike with my students. Thanks |

Hi all,
My son and his group of friends, all 15 years old planned to camp overnight at Bukit Besi Alam Damai Cheras (near Altitud 236). There will be no teachers or any adults to supervise them on this trip. These group of boys are with Persatuan Pengakap and St John's. Their schedule is between 4pm on a Saturday to the following day 4pm. Please advise if permit is required for them to go on this overnight camping or any authority to report to before they depart on this short adventure? Do they need to notify the nearest police station of their camping trip? Hope someone can enlighten me on this matter. Thank you. |
