You need to train to use. Not easy to use trekking pole.

How to snyro your leg move with pole, where to cucuk your pole, how tall pole need when up or down, when need pole and when don't need.

I use pole with all my hike. The pole is my 3rd leg. I use pole can hike faster than without pole.

Copy from one of the hikers, Mystical Pixie. Kindly please take note.

Now happening at Nuang via Janda Baik!!!

Kindly be informed that all hikers are required to apply for permits in order to hike mountains around Malaysia.

As for Nuang via Janda Baik, the rangers are already stationed at the trailhead and those without permits are strictly not allowed.

For more information for permit application, please contact Pejabat Perhutanan Bentong at 092221039.

Note :
- After speaking to them, we were informed that they station there Friday evening itself. So, hiking in at the wee hours is not a good choice too.
- Those doing Reverse Trans Nuang, sorry to inform that you will also need to apply for permit as they are stationed before the Janda Baik's car park.
(a) Register at Pangsun Ranger's Station (which you guys are already doing)
(b) Apply permit from Jabatan Perhutanan Bentong.
© Carry and keep both receipt and letters throughout the hike (run)
- Permits are also required for Pines Tree, Irau, and all the mountains.

P/S: After spoke to Myztical Pixie, she advice us don't have to go that far. Do call them and they wil advice you accordingly. They did it all electronically.

RM10 if not mistaken.

Yup. if you have whatever support, wear it before hike. You don't hike halfway than wear. It doesn't help you.

Nothing. Just protect it from rain.

I use gopro, P&S camera and HP to shot.

Important for me is carry light and small.

Hi guys, ANYONE INTERESTED IN TRANS TITIWANGSA V2 HIKE ON SEPTEMBER 10-17?

You need to take 2 days leave only as there'll be Awal Muharam public holiday and Malaysia Day fall on that week.

My group is looking for 2-3 more people!
