I've ask Elton this during TT thought I'd put it out here again.
Should I replace my stock air filter with K&N or Simota? I'm looking into this because it's a cheap mod though I'm wondering what's the performance gain.
Does the aftermarket filters also cause more wear and tear to the engine?

Yesterday went to do alignment and balancing at the shop recommended by Yngwie. As it turns out, both my real wheels and front left wheel camber sudah lari, so need to fix that. Then they also found that my front right rims is seriously bent, so I had to leave the wheel with them to be repaired and drove home with a replacement wheel they lend me (Which vibrated like crazy even at 90 kph). This morning went back where they put back the wheel with the restored rim and completed the onwheel balancing for all tyres. Originally a RM 80 affair ended up with a RM 200+ bill. But so far they did a good job, now I can whack 160 kph without having to worry about my steering wheel disintegrating. This post has been edited by dares: Nov 4 2011, 01:53 PM

QUOTE(brewoe_1988 @ Nov 4 2011, 04:52 PM) guys should i change my waja to iswara, tired of maintaining the power windows and those wear and tear parts already...currently my wiper arm and all 4 absorber not in tip top condition ad, power window metal type making some funny noise when goin tru rough road , driver seat got ngek ngek sound when goin tru bump.......last week drove my friend iswara auto it feel more power to pick up then my heavy waja and power window are working....i believe iswara maintenance should be cheaper then waja rite??really dillema to give up on my near 10 yrs old waja pass to me by family or get and yr 2000/2001 iswara auto by myself....any pro advise?? Why do you want to trade down from a Waja that your family owned, to a used Iswara that you might have no idea about it's history. The "great" Iswara you drove may have benefitted from a owner that took very good care of it, but there's no saying what kind of crap you'll run into if you get a used one. I used to own a 2000 Iswara manual that was bought new. To be honest, if you bought my Iswara when I sold it you will probably cry and curse like nobody's business. Like Steven said, your Waja problems are nothing compared to the problems I ran into when I first bought my used Waja. This post has been edited by dares: Nov 4 2011, 09:44 PM

QUOTE(brewoe_1988 @ Nov 5 2011, 07:47 AM) lols looks like everyone disagree with my planning to change from waja to iswara...interested to know whats problem when u get ur waja thou .... I've mentioned it several times in the Waja thread now. Let's just say this Waja I'm driving now is the first car to strand me on a highway one month after I got the car. There are still problems that I'm dealing with every now and then but's it's much better now. I won't trade it for an Iswara, though. Added on November 5, 2011, 10:42 amQUOTE(mxsteven @ Nov 4 2011, 06:02 PM) .... its like walking along the road and suddenly step a shit.... and the next day u walk down the road and step again the same shit... so u continue on and it became a stepping shit routine. I've read this many times and I still can't brain this. This post has been edited by dares: Nov 5 2011, 10:42 AM

QUOTE(yngwie @ Nov 5 2011, 11:17 AM) dares@ you mean the one in balakong? they're good at manual alignment but for wheels repair, i'd go somewhere else cuz' their price on repair job is expensive. btw, i may say good bye to waja thread soon. i've got an offer which is too good to refuse Yea...the repair cost me RM 60. But I didn't wanna drive around anymore with a bent rim lest it cause more damage to it, so got it fixed there. Also since it's only one wheel, I don't wanna run around looking for another shop coz waste time lah. Stick around la....you Waja expertise is much sought after.

QUOTE(Nightstalker1993 @ Nov 6 2011, 10:22 PM) Why CVT when a standard manual GB just rocks? btw saw this a few days back. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « the right wheel was pointing straight though. moral of the story: beware of potholes At first I thought there was nothing wrong. Upon further inspection, I went "OOOOOOWWWWWHHHHH" QUOTE(Vervain @ Nov 6 2011, 10:24 PM) no lah. I think it's a mod. You know lah, waja got terrible turning radius and this guy manages to crack it.
