I've ask Elton this during TT thought I'd put it out here again.

Should I replace my stock air filter with K&N or Simota? I'm looking into this because it's a cheap mod though I'm wondering what's the performance gain.

Does the aftermarket filters also cause more wear and tear to the engine?

Police took his picture in HD, but the radar gun was destroyed by the sonic boom as he passed by.

Yesterday went to do alignment and balancing at the shop recommended by Yngwie.

As it turns out, both my real wheels and front left wheel camber sudah lari, so need to fix that. Then they also found that my front right rims is seriously bent, so I had to leave the wheel with them to be repaired and drove home with a replacement wheel they lend me (Which vibrated like crazy even at 90 kph).

This morning went back where they put back the wheel with the restored rim and completed the onwheel balancing for all tyres.

Originally a RM 80 affair ended up with a RM 200+ bill.

But so far they did a good job, now I can whack 160 kph without having to worry about my steering wheel disintegrating.

Why do you want to trade down from a Waja that your family owned, to a used Iswara that you might have no idea about it's history.

The "great" Iswara you drove may have benefitted from a owner that took very good care of it, but there's no saying what kind of crap you'll run into if you get a used one.

I used to own a 2000 Iswara manual that was bought new. To be honest, if you bought my Iswara when I sold it you will probably cry and curse like nobody's business. Like Steven said, your Waja problems are nothing compared to the problems I ran into when I first bought my used Waja.

I've mentioned it several times in the Waja thread now. Let's just say this Waja I'm driving now is the first car to strand me on a highway one month after I got the car.

There are still problems that I'm dealing with every now and then but's it's much better now. I won't trade it for an Iswara, though.

Yea...the repair cost me RM 60. But I didn't wanna drive around anymore with a bent rim lest it cause more damage to it, so got it fixed there. Also since it's only one wheel, I don't wanna run around looking for another shop coz waste time lah.

Stick around la....you Waja expertise is much sought after.

They charged me:

alignment = RM40 for all wheels.
On wheel balancing = RM10 per wheel.
Camber = RM20 per wheel.

Oh they also charge 5% gomen tax .
