QUOTE(king_coolice @ Oct 31 2011, 04:34 PM) @mxsteven: SuperCharge is a waste of time.... the parts reliability is not there, installation is difficult and the gain is minimal + not fuel efficiency due to power loss hysteresis. Power loss hysteresis means that it takes more power on even idle and on normal driving. To increase boost you need to play with the pulley and more power loss.... What do you think about Supercharge on 4G18P compare to Bolt-On-Turbo, in terms of reliability and maintenance? Not really worth to invest at all |

QUOTE(king_coolice @ Oct 31 2011, 05:15 PM) The FC of Waja for city driving is really bad. As from my view, this is because of the power-to-weight ratio of Waja is not good. Waja's is just too heavy for 4G18. To solve it, either go for force induction or engine replacement. FC 4G18 should be ok.... i think u need to check ur car.... normally 500km/tank for town and highway 600kmThus, supercharger came into my mind as the supercharge is giving the boost since low rpm and I dont really need top end speed. I thought the supercharge setup is simpler than BOT. |

QUOTE(king_coolice @ Oct 31 2011, 05:51 PM) Yes. I do achieve RM0.2/km. But isn't that too high for a 1600cc car? I was trying to look for around RM0.16/km. Can BOT achieve that? that is very normal for town use... to reduce it you need to get hybrid cars... BOT can reduce depends on how u drive... Stock waja actually can achieve 0.16/km if you drive the right way. |

QUOTE(yngwie @ Nov 1 2011, 08:11 AM) my waja is doing an average about 0.20c/km or roughly around 7.x/100km. running on ron97 with Turbo setup on town use is a real fun hehehe Alif do enjoy so much that almost dun wan to return my car hahahaha.... The fuel efficiency definitely better than NA.... Overheat all sorts of things happen coz wrong setup... wrong tuning... wiring by those under coconut tree wireman and etc lolsboost kept at low 0.6 bar. 90% town driving by my sister. less high rev. before engine change, it used to be around 0.16c/km or 8.xkm/100km on ron95. close to 80% town ride by myself. conclusion ; turbo engine increased the car's power to weight ratio and the rest is fun! just ask steven only drawback is that at 583nm of torque on my wangan ride(not waja), the idle engine sound is so annoying those passer by will just laugh at it as of a 'farted sound...dang! Added on November 1, 2011, 8:38 am QUOTE(jacktmj @ Nov 1 2011, 08:21 AM) When i first bought my cps, i could hit up to 600-620km Full tank at roughly RM110.00. But that was 2 years ago. Either u over filled or the oil dosent match the engine which cause internal friction. Now, after minor mod and 17" stupid heavy rims, 300km@RM60.00. Full tank only 450-480km at roughly RM100.00. I'm using Eneos engine oil btw. Any reason why the FC decreased that much?! (other than the rims, coz before i put on the rims, i changed only the Muffler and it decreased to 520-550km@RM100.00). When belting sounds for quite sometime, try to replace coz the elasticity of the rubber might be damaged.... anyway the belting is quite cheap... not worth the risk to try and fix by ignoring the problem
