Can we BT from Maybankard2 AMEX balance to CIMB 0% 6-month BT program?
*
YES. Why not? As long as the CIMB BT programme is still active at the time you submit your application.

In my CIMB BT application, I put 2 credit cards (Maybank & SCB) in one application form.
Would I get
A. 2 BT accounts
B. 1 single BT account
C. join into an existing BT account
*
1 application form with 2 credit cards will be lumped together into 1 BT account. Will not be joined, combined or added into existing BT account.

Just went there apply a new card and submit the BT form together with the application form...hope can get approved for the BT (0%) .
They having new offer for new cards.. "2 Maybankard 2 cards" one is AMEX card and one master card.. Finance charge only 8.88% dunno ok anot...
*
Of course not OK. It's 8.88% p.a and it's charged on daily basis. BT is still the best deal over this 8.88% thing.

what is cash treat?
atm out the credit card money?

Take out money from ATM is called Cash Advance.

Cash Treat is like asking a loan. The card centre will bank in the requested amount to your saving.

Hey guys, on top of the CashTreats, I disovered a better deal than CashTreats called EzyCash for Maybank:

Fees:

Fees & Charges

1. 0 % Interest Rate with 6 months installment.
2. One Time Cash Advance Fee of 3.88% will be charged on the amount approved. The fee will be billed to the credit card account following the crediting of the monies. Applicable to every approved Maybank EzyCash application.

this method is almost similar to HLB's BT and eon bank call for cash . here is the comparison of interest between them. All of them require a saving accounts with them.

Mbb: 3.88% for 6 months
HLB: 3% for 6 months
EON : 2 % for 6 months
*
Well, I'm just comparing between MBB CashTreats and EzyCash.

This CIMB BT program is getting addictive... every month can put CC payments into FD to earn some interest (should consider mini cash-backs)
- very efficient in processing
- can pay minimum 5% each month until full balance payment on the 6th Statement
*
Make sure you track well if you have several concurrent BTs with CIMB/DA. laugh.gif

*
This is not a special promo. It's a on-going campaign. So no need to rush for it.

For CIMB BT program, if we cancel the principal CIMB card, do we need to settle all remaining BT accounts in one go ?
*
Yes. You need to clear all the outstanding of your BT tied to the principal CIMB CC even though separate account(s) created.

BT is on the total outstanding amount; not on specific or particular transaction/swipe.

Some bank imposed min amount to be BT-ed.
