Can perform a BT that could max out the available credit limit? I don't think so.

QUOTE(jasontoh @ Nov 17 2010, 10:39 AM) Have a question regarding Pbbank BT, if I go for the 6 months BT for 1800, meaning every month I'll need to pay 300 right? What if I charge another 300 to the card, if I pay 600, will I be charged with any interest? If the BT plan is offering 0% for 6 months tenure, then your calculation is correct. Otherwise, do the Maths on yourself.Additional amount swiped to the card will not be charged for interest if you clear that amount before payment due date. For details regarding outstanding amount due to payment, kindly refer to your card statement or clear it with the customer service. |

BT is a good feature in CC if you know how to exert proper usage and control.

QUOTE(shoduken @ Nov 20 2010, 08:22 PM) I have 2 cards with outstanding. Provide if both cards are not from the same bank and both cards have 0% BT. If you have a significant amount of outstanding that you want to settle slowly, it'll be marvelous option. Will I save more if I use balance transfer on both of them vice versa on one another if I have the available cc limit on both card to do that? And what I really wanted to know is that possible to do balance transfer like that? xD |

QUOTE(JCCJ @ Nov 30 2010, 11:26 AM) Thanks to David83 that guided me to this thread. Your EPP will still go on no matter how unless it expires 24 months later. I got another question here. Since i signed up an iphone digi plan using EPP with 3rd party credit card and i pay the amount as stated during i sign up the EPP. Now, i am about to transfer the balance to my CC. My question is, i am subjected to 24 months installement, after i transfer the balance, am i still entitle to the installment and how much they will charge on it? However, if you wish the transfer the monthly EPP installment amount along with other outstanding amount, I believe it is possible provided that the EPP monthly amount is already shown in the cumulative outstanding. BT rate/promo varies from bank to bank. This post has been edited by David83: Nov 30 2010, 11:31 AM |

The question is whether he has DA or PB CC on hand. He didn't actually answer the question thoroughly or maybe he just has one CC from HLB.

QUOTE(cannavaro @ Dec 6 2010, 05:14 AM) I am surprised that MBB rejected my BT application. I thought banks love 'stealing' from other banks? For BT, you must provide latest bill which is going to due soon in order for the bank to settle the outstanding amount.Does it have anything to do with the fact that I have 2 other 0% interest BT going on with my other cards? - BT Eonbank to CIMB - BT Eonbank to PB - BT CIMB to MBB (failed) I didn't use my latest statement for the application btw, but I don't think it's because of that. |

The current DA BT promo expires by end of December. Any idea if it'll be extended further again?

DA 0% BT for 6 months only.
1% for 12 months. But hopefully that will change if DA is going for an extension. This post has been edited by David83: Dec 16 2010, 03:02 PM |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Dec 17 2010, 11:45 PM) Anyone knows if i can make a balance transfer to the same card twice ? HSBC is currently offering a 0% BT with no upfront fee. I am thinking to do a BT from my Citibank VISA. I have two Citibank credit cards. Both come with different statement date. I think that shouldn't be a problem as long as you have sufficient credit limit. |

QUOTE(Kcee @ Dec 18 2010, 01:50 PM) Yup, CIMB/DA BT programme is the best BT programme I've encountered so far. I've made a total of 6 BT applications since the offer was open I have made 5 BT to DA BT. One lesser than you. Ha! Ha!and all my applications were approved. By the way, does anybody know if it is possible to make BT from any banks' Mastercard / Visa to Maybank's American Express card? I did ask the same question about BT from AMEX to BT or vice versa. Nobody answers. |

Seems like MBB is not so famous even though their deal is attractive. Too bad that MBB is primary CC and I seldom use my DA. If can, I could do a little experiment on MBB BT.

DA turn around time is pretty fast and amazing.
I don't rely on the printed statement for BT application. Since I transferred from MBB to DA, I use e-statement from M2U. |
