The best way to beat Stoke is not to try counter and replicate how they play..never play the long ball or high balls with Stoke..play the ball on the ground and try to outpace them..
If Tiote is out, then Guthrie really has to show his true worth tonight..he needs to show the quality that made him a very sought after player after playing for Bolton on loan in his early years..
Jonas needs to be strong down the left wing..take players on and beat them..physically he needs to be strong going up against those Stoke wing backs..if its Obertan on the right, he needs to run at the defence and weave some magical dribbles and skills..
Ben Arfa is going to replace Best..if Cabaye and the midfielders can thread some through balls to him, theres only one winner in a foot race between Ben Arfa vs Woodgate or Huth..
A win would be great tonight and theres nothing to stop us from doing that..yeah we have had a poor record against Stoke these past few seasons but we also had poor results against Blackburn, Fulham and Villa recently and we managed to make it right this season..maybe Stoke is next..
HOWAY THE LADS!!!

2-0 Ba.... and Best doesn't look too happy coz he hasn't scored any goals yet..but i applaud his amazing techniques with the ball that actually help us to maintain possesion and assist on the 2nd goal

even simpson defend like a boss! everyone got a never die attitude.
i like AP strategy which keep high pressure to stoke players.the dm and cb swarm down to stoke city players when they hold ball.
everyone at CM is doing a defensive minded and guthrie will launch a beatiful long pass to flankers.
a majestic counter attack.
please keep this momentum and the clean sheet.

Demba Ba and Jonas selected as joint Man of the Match by Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville..

QUOTE(THE ZUL @ Nov 1 2011, 06:12 AM) good karma on penalty hahaha. this is our best start in the newcastle history? keep the spirit lads. hope we can clinch to UCL! Best start in 15 years.. G.Neville own words: "The most complete away performance at the Brittania I have ever seen..28 games since Stoke conceded 3 at the Britannia" Defensively, we were absolutely fantastic and immense!!! And well done James Perch..comes on and within 30 seconds, gets a booking!!! This post has been edited by dxjb: Nov 1 2011, 06:23 AM

QUOTE(ykc @ Nov 1 2011, 10:12 AM) awesome result !! 3rd place ! never been so high up since bobby robson era ! and somebody will just say "ceh, stoke is pariah team" well, tell them you can only beat whats in front of you, you can't beat teams you haven't play Also i highly doubt any top 4 supporters will mention that since none of them manage to get anything out of the Britannia

Stoke not pariah team, most big team struggle to win at Britanna stadium let alone 0-3 win So Mike Ashley decision to replace Hugton with Pardew is a correct decision ?

never been so proud to be a newcastle supporter for a long time..who would have thought we would go to Stoke and thump them 3-1?? i would have taken a point any day of the week after being beaten 4-0 last season best part was simmo taking the piss by wiping the ball with the towel and wasting time..
