Aye..Gervinho seems to be the danger man if RVP isnt playing..their midfield could be where we need to attack as of now and we find ourselves equal if not better in that area of the pitch compared to what we had in the 4-4 draw..

Look at our midfileders now:
Jonas, Marveaux, Obertan, Cabaye, Tiote, Gosling, Barton, Vuckic, Smith??, Guthrie (inured), Abeid, Raylor, Sameobi..

I f we can get a hold of midfield, we could stop them from playing and we can apply pressure of our own on them..

All we need is another decent striker and spirits will be up in the Toon!!

Well right now..Im just flabbergasted..seriously..selling Jose for 6 million is pathetic..but we cant blame the board..it was either the 6 million on offer now, or none at all at end of the season..or we could have waited till the end of August and either Jose stays with us or Liverpool come in with a lower offer and we had to accept..so yeah Im disapointed but theres not much we can do..

Cabaye was coming deep for the ball like he does at every team he has been at and they usually pass and let him dictate the game. For some reason our team decides to ignore him and smash the ball 50 yards to the useless Ameobi.

The problem with Barton is that he needs to be on the edge of his breaking point for his form to show (as you saw today – his game massively improved once the anger got out of him). What scared me was once he had cooled down a bit, he was all smiles. It’s like looking at a schizophrenic – fine one minute, crazy the next and then once the poison is out of his system, fine again.
