About the ICS update....since Google has quickly announce tat Nexus One won't be getting the update unfortunately due to its old hardware..
There's a chance for our sgs to get it? Since it hasn't been told...

then what is the problems ? after 2week i buy this sgs i root...then my phone become lag..and sometimes hang....example someone calling me and i answer...the phone suddenly blank colour..but i still hear the voice..
but blank..then need to pull out battery and restart

i wan to flash to xxjvt but i found out that for the CSC got 2 files.one is CSC multi and another is CSC home-multi.so which one should i use

The smaller file worked just fine for me

Probably no official ICS from Samsung for the SGS, but I'm sure we'll 'get' ICS via Cyanogenmod and MIUI since if Nexus S can run ICS, the SGS should be able to do it too

Ha ha, I am still lurking around. The SGS is in safer hands now (my wife's) but I still follow this thread and read every post if I can

My 9900 was sold off as soon as the replacement unit was given by Brightstar, now happy with my 9810.

Why after flash to xxjvt some apps from market i cant dl

Its quite hard for us to know what is your problem now.how you root your phone? Which firmware you are on and kernel so on.if possible flash a fresh clean stock rom like dxjv9 or xxjvt will be better.

why i cant dl some of the apps from the market after flash to xxjvt?maybe i never do formatting or clean up b4 flash to xxjvt?

just got a galaxy s phone but i don't like the singtel startup logo and some app that come preinstalled with the phone like trafficlive,sigtel video etc..

not sure it is new or not but the version is 3.15.some previous apps that i install but now cant install back.maybe some of the old files or data still inside the phone?

try this, go into setting>application>all application>find market>wipe cache, wipe data>reboot your phone into recovery>wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, fix permission>restart. or update to latest market will be better.

which market is the newest?mine is v3.15

3.20 i already post it in a previous page. try search for it.
