new galaxy s user here.. quite noob..

i want to ask how to transfer video files from PC to my mobile?
i saw each time I complete Bluetooth transfer, there's always error of Inbound Transfer and I cannot locate the file which already transferred.
what does it mean?

do i need the so called USB Dongle as enabler? how to make it works..
pls help guys..

actually i found AndroidInjector which able to bulk install app via PC.. is there any app that can bulk install using our phone? no need to use pc..

I'm using Galnet Chamelon, so far so good. But i encounter one problem with wifi, i can't detect ONLY my home wifi, after few days connected it. I happened to click forget it, then i try  scan again, then i couldn't find it anymore even scanning for minutes...computer still can scan and detect and connect it....

Anyone facing this issue b4?

after few months serve me.. no my S is already in ICU.. forget to put in the plastic cover while riding my motorcycle.. the phone was wet during the heavy raining..

now.. the phone unable to restart.. thinking where to send the repair...

hw many hrs does the display last before drained completely?  we have different usage with our phones in 1 day.  I wonder if the display can last up to 4hrs.. it it can, then probably the same as stock.. but I heard it's not as good rite..

im in darky 10.2.2 final with stock battery (dated october 2011) and has been using the phone for 1d 7hrs 30m, and i still have 40% on my battery, is that consider good?

well.. with these hours on CM7, it's good!! think of the battery drain before..

a question for those who are on CM7, do you guys face random reboot and stucked at the android mascot animation? i've been experiencing quite a few times already.. that damn mascot just keeps moving

Anyone flashed to the so-called official 2.3.4 and then downgrade and reflashed back to official Malaysia's 2.3.3? I did it coz 2.3.4 kept on freezing my phone and I'm testing if the official 2.3.3 works better or worse. First reflash I was stucked on the galaxy s boot screen. Only after wiping the data in recovery mode that I'm able to reboot it. But when I connected to KIES, it said not official rom and can't update. Why is that so and what is the solution?

Hopefully no battery drain bug.

hi guys... its been a month since i last update my cm7.. currently on #100..
so.. i went to xda to update... guess what? its already 2.3.7...
any1 tried? how was it? anything new?

i received an OTA update for miui rom, after download it, io cant update...it mention status 7....

what should i do?

There is no BLN in CM7, only LED notification. both are different

Hi, just now i have tried to root my phone, even thou the odin say successful, but then when i use my galasy s went to market and download root check, it said my phone was not rooted, so how? can i re-root back without reformat?

Tried, i check usb debugging mod, switch off phone and went to download mode, and i use odin flash the speedmod, and phone restart and checked kernel version,no different... how =(

I'm still on 2.2 with Speedmod kernel+lagfix. Can i upgrade to 2.3.x directly via kies or need to undo the lagfix first.

Juz want to confirm that i need to remove lagfix first then upgrade.

im using that ROM, and flash GT version.
the quadrant score is insane i tell u       
frequently got 2700+. one time reached 3100+.
but i still playing with the ROM, to test whether it got bugs or not.
on battery wise, seems acceptable. (i seldom use data connection).
