im using Defy® and playing with Ideos X5 (my workmate) quite often
yeah. this Defy®is superbly built phone.
tough. nice resolution LCD. Battery last quite good than those 1Ghz 4" phone.
speed and smoothness is bad with stock MotoBlur®
but once u put MIUI or CM7 in it..
its speed and smoothness is awesome. so fluid.
battery life also improve
even my fren 1Ghz Galaxy SL also feel abit slower
so my vote goes to Defy®

price drop should be. but depend on market la.
if they up the price bad la for us.

MIUI is the nicest custom ROM for android..
(yup. i dare say it )
and its highly customize able also. on my defy it take less than 15min from stock Motorola to MIUI

tested and not a good choice.
small is good
but resolution and that tiny 140MB plus memory really hitting then bxxx quite fast.

as for women..
i dont really know which one to suggest.
but as for me, try Motorola Defy®
the most compact size of all,
with good spec,nice LCD, good battery life,
price around 1k+ also for new one.

as for those low end (not so budget )android above.
pls leave it alone..
not worthy to buy and use. that include that overrated Galaxy Ace

blade is quite faster than all that..
but u must know that android phone battery is just not as good as old nokia ya..
almost all cant stand 1day la..
but with custom tune, rom. not really much a problem
but i highly suggest u target at least x5 if really want to buy a new android phone.
if can target Defy, then thats better.

depend on ur preference la like that
mi410 is ok.
xperia mini if u can stand typing on that small screen.

coz if ur budget is 5xx-6xx then just take spice.( all phone in that price range just cannot fight mi300 bangforbuck Rm499)

Mi300 the best bang for buck.(RM4xx)
quite fast also and can games abit.
can u save a bit more to RM799 and get the X5
much2 faster than those entry lvl phone.
good graphic and big 512MB ram

been rooting and flashing many2 times with few phones already.
