Is it a good idea to get a 2nd hand phone like the Samsung Galaxy S or Nexus S or HTC Desire or better top up to get the Samsung Galaxy W which is brand new?

Galaxy W has an inferior screen compared to Galaxy S1 but the trade off is that W has a faster processor.

Usually with 2nd hand smart phones, what are the things that we can check software-wise?
Or can they restore it to factory settings like re installing Windows?

I checked on Mudah and on a price list from a seller on garage sales .
Both of them have the Nexus > RM1k while the Galaxy W is RM950.
The 2nd hand Nexus', Galaxy S1's and HTC Desires are max. RM850.

But if you check carefully again, you'll see it's very very hard to get them at such prices, mostly sold out or seller no replies...

1. Brand: Anything
2. Budget: rm500 and below
3. Specs: Best hardware available for rm500 price
4. What you need in the phone: 2.2 ++; 3g; GPS

1. Samsung Galaxy Y

3. CSL Spice i300 (Point to me which seller that give price below rm500)

Galaxy Y your best bet for below 500.

i still suggest go for mi300 for its bigger,higher res and nicer display compare to Y.
large community support also.
wont regret getting it.
