i change the server of the gps to m`sia server instead of europe..

anyone got any nice ringtone maker software to share?last time use nero wav but expired alreaddy now

Btw anyone noticed a significant effect on the battery calibration method? Mine has no changes at all TT

if u didnt touch the phone, say 100% charge, it will stay that way for 1 hour or so...in previous version, if fully charged, even u didnt touch the phone, the battery percentage will still drop...this is the only significant thing about battery...other than that, still drain like hell...

i use WOlf's rom...gps lock very fast.... less than a minute...
if u hav dataplan, switch on "use wireless network" in location settings... definitely less than a minute to lock...

Hi guys i'm android newbie here.. i saw this official thread for the x10i, i guess u all are the very very sifu.. i need some help.. my problem is pertaining to update my (used) x10i from android 2.1 to 2.3.. i downloaded and installed pc companion, SE update.. my phone can back up images and contacts to the pc.. but when update cannot.. the checking for update process is ok, the problem start here.. the pc companion will ask to remove hp and cable from the pc, turn off the phone den wait 5 seconds (i waited 15 seconds) den plug the usb cable to computer den press "back" key while connecting the phone to the usb.. so i jus folo the instruction.. i pressed "back " while connecting.. keep on hold the "back" key.. when the screen start up like normal "on".. then my pc hang.. i tried 3 pc already.. all same result.. hang until i nid to restart pc.. my pc spec is i5 with 4gb ddr3 and 450gb empty hardisk.. i notice my phone n my fren's x10i is slighly different.. usually when i hold the off button to off, the screen got few option to choose (i.e. Silent, Airplane, Off, Rebot, Recovery and download).. My fren's fun hav such thing.. My current firmware is 2.1-update1, Baseband is 2.04.46, Kernel is 2.6.29 SEMCUser@SEMCHost#1, build number is 2.0.A.0.504.. Hope u can guide me how to update to gingerbread.. thanks..

Have u tried update the software via the hp itself (without connecting to the PC)?

did u connect to the same USB port?
try disconnecting the cable from the phone and leave the USB cable connected to PC..
then Press back button, then connect to cable to phone (dont switch on manually... it'll start by itself)
by right, u should be getting GREEN LED... and a blank screen....

if all fail, i suggest u hav a look at first page.. find a link to Flashtool 2.9.1 Gingerbread ready.. then look for Wolfbreak V6 in XDA... follow the instruction by Wolf... much easier and faster than SEPC..

Guys, need some advise. Xperia X10 doesn't have front faced camera. Without this camera, can video call be made? Is there 3rd party apps that be used to make video call? Thanx in advance

Aaaahhhh... today i unplug the battery at 730am, after that I noticed the battery dropped to 78% at around 1030am. >.<

Added on September 20, 2011, 8:03 pmBasically, u need to update ur software to latest PC Companion, and then follow the instruction to update the baseband version to .71, after that ur phone only can upgrade to GB 2.3.3. Updating the firmware has nothing to do with ur pc except connection speed. Read the instruction carefully.

our x10 has built in gps...there is configuration for the gps to find the server based on our setting address...it is same as build.prop...
initially built in configuration for gps all the server is refer on differ continent and it takes a much longer for the gps to locked for those who lived in other continent as well..so i`ve change the address so that the satellite will straight lookin to the asian continent (malaysia) for faster locked..

Oic but how to check? I dont know how to check whether I change it successfully or not. Many people use gps by using the data connection which will determine ur current location based on data connection. I am actually interesting in a gps which do not need a data connection and can lock on the satellite like within 10s.

download gps status from market...then try to lock ur gps...if the timing is faster means it is successfully changed...

skype can make video calls usin the rear camera

try use v6 WB ROM that got newer kernel or u can flash the latest doomlord kernel...the kernel is v5 i think...if not mistaken la...

gps one month how much? why this papago gps so in this thread de?

To check ur gps setting, use root explorer.. under system\etc\gps.conf
it should show as asia pool or something..for malaysia, u should see MY or something.. SG is singapore etc..
