Hi guys i'm android newbie here.. i saw this official thread for the x10i, i guess u all are the very very sifu.. i need some help.. my problem is pertaining to update my (used) x10i from android 2.1 to 2.3.. i downloaded and installed pc companion, SE update.. my phone can back up images and contacts to the pc.. but when update cannot.. the checking for update process is ok, the problem start here.. the pc companion will ask to remove hp and cable from the pc, turn off the phone den wait 5 seconds (i waited 15 seconds) den plug the usb cable to computer den press "back" key while connecting the phone to the usb.. so i jus folo the instruction.. i pressed "back " while connecting.. keep on hold the "back" key.. when the screen start up like normal "on".. then my pc hang.. i tried 3 pc already.. all same result.. hang until i nid to restart pc.. my pc spec is i5 with 4gb ddr3 and 450gb empty hardisk.. i notice my phone n my fren's x10i is slighly different.. usually when i hold the off button to off, the screen got few option to choose (i.e. Silent, Airplane, Off, Rebot, Recovery and download).. My fren's fun hav such thing.. My current firmware is 2.1-update1, Baseband is 2.04.46, Kernel is 2.6.29 SEMCUser@SEMCHost#1, build number is 2.0.A.0.504.. Hope u can guide me how to update to gingerbread.. thanks..

Hey guys, I've subscribed to the Umobile Mobile Internet plan, and i get a 'H' icon beside my signal strength bar while using the 3G. My question is, does that 'H' icon mean that I'm connected to 3G, or should it be showing a '3G' icon instead? Thanks!

Exactly what i thought bro. Any ideas why it isn't on 3G? I'm definitely always in areas with 3G coverage, so might it have something to do with my settings? Any idea what are the settings i should be checking? 

I didnt see anything related to location..

Why is it x10 just worth rm400? lol? I tot should at least still worth rm550 or rm600 now. bravia engine is to enhance ur photo and video quality. check first page

guys, im tryin to upgrade my android market version, should i remove the old apk first or just download the new one and use it ?

hi guys im currently using gb official rom 2.3 and i realise my battery is drain lik hell ..and whatapps and viber and facebook are automatic on even when i not using it..anyway to make it manually open ??cz i hate to force close everytime..and i wonder isit the reason why the battery drain fast?

root n remove bloatware using Titanium backup...
(Event stream engine, media server, Timescapes, setup guide, Google Maps, data monitor/traffic, fav & call log, media discovery, playNow, Sony Sync, weather widget, widgets on/off) I removed all these, and stock perform quite well... if u want better, flash Wolf V6 custom rom.. even better....
phone cannot access Sdcard? nak senang, copy jer semua sdcard content to PC, reformat sdcard using phone, then masukkan balik dlm phone.. trial n error bro...
