No disadvantages, but there is a risk of bricking your phone in case if it get disconnected while in the process of unlocking it. But it takes less than 10 seconds, really.
Advantages...yeah. You can use kernels designed for unlocked bootloaders. Since the unlocking thing is still new, there's not much you can get except better custom kernels.

QUOTE(Eugene91 @ Nov 30 2011, 11:47 PM) ThGo V11 seems very interesting might try soon Now he provided a kernel to be used with BootManager.. have to place kernel in sdcard>kernels .. Yeah, he did. The last version of his ROM I used... was very bad. I think I'm going to try the latest version while waiting for ICS.

Hey, anyone here is using a 32GB micro SD card? SDHC or the normal one? I'm planning to get one since mine is full (manga collection + lots of music). 8GB isn't enough.
A good but cheap will do. Anyone can recommend me? And does it work well?

QUOTE(wkkm007 @ Jan 28 2012, 12:13 AM) Above 4GB nowdays all are SDHC Class speed 4 and 10 most common in LYP PC shop http://www.hardwarezone.com.my/priceLists Added on January 28, 2012, 12:16 amhttps://www.sdcard.org/consumers/speed/ About class speed I don't really mind about the speed, as long as it has high durability and spacious. Class 4 should be enough I guess. But I'm just not sure about which brand and model would fit my criteria since I don't care at all about the memory card ever since I got my first mobile phone which can use an external memory storage.

I'm still using the X10, it's my only phone. Alive and kicking on 4.2.2 Jelly Bean CM10.1. As for your question, I don't think it's possible to do it directly, but it should be possible if you create a recovery zip that includes a script which clear the Messaging app's data.
If the SMS and MMS messages are what you meant, then, yes, it should be possible that way. Or why not just clear the data of the Messaging app through the applications settings menu?

QUOTE(SteamShark @ Mar 30 2013, 12:16 PM) because i have like 40k msg in my hp and when I try to delete them, my whole hp stucked. Your CM10.1 is the one without camera function? or is it full function? I am still on T.E.A.M. 2.3.3 There's only one CM10.1 build, that is by CMX10 Team (scritch and Tof). Camera works, except camcorder. Full functionality, smooth and responsive, but RAM is an issue if you're a multi-tasker or uses memory heavy programs. And expect WLODs. For me, I have set of programs that I use in my X10 that I know won't cause WLODs and also some that is occasionally. CM10.1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2149922Ah, I forgot to add that the development for CM10.1 has stopped. There is an AOSP 4.2.2, also had its development stopped: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2197387You can try CM9.1 and CM10, they are still being developed, although very slow. CM9.1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987130CM10: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012483Or, you can try the other 4.2.2 AOSP variant, modified to look like the Xperia Z and is still actively developed: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2246951Or, the other 4.1.2 CM10 variant by Vasishta: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2043672This post has been edited by -Hzu-: May 5 2013, 07:23 PM
