No lah, don't blame SE fully. They already mentioned before X10 won't get Gingerbread, but luckily they DID give us that.

So actually now we already got stuffs beyond the original expectations of X10, so don't bash them if they won't give us further updates. Of course they wanna sell their latest devices as well.

And to be honest, sooner or later, most of us will be upgrading too, right? Hehe. But for now I'm still in love with my X10 & I'll always be, thanks to those great devs in XDA

i just realized that Flashtool also been upgraded to version 5.10..
with BL unlock features..

any1 know how to do this via flashtool? i want to unlock BL.. but that are the benefits?

Senang jer.. flash to stock 2.3.3 firmware then root it, then unlock BL that's all (just follow the instructions given by flashtool)

New flashtool is the method I told you. But i think as long as you're on stock kernel and bb .71 you can use new flashtool.

tried flashtool 5.10 to unlock but nothing happened..

select plugin.. nothing..
tried flash mode (green LED) also nothing happended..

any1 knows why?

guys..need help here..my x10 cant use the camera la..when i push the icon camera,it say UNKNOWN ERROR AND CAMERA NOT AVAILABLE..what the hell..please help me ya..

yep installed both files in the same default folder.. (flashtool 4.2)

then tried newer flashtool 5.10 also same.

maybe I connected with the wrong method.. is it flashmode? or flashboot?

but how to use flashboot?

Get the batch files from the_laser thread. Use them, might be easier (I used them, and there were no GUI alternatives, but like what I thought many people will have problems with the GUI alternatives). And be sure to run S1Tool first.

0. GET THE KERNEL DOWNGRADE FIRST, JUST LOOK FOR THE AZUZU GINGERBREAD 2.3 ROOT METHOD THREAD AND FLASH IT VIA FLASHTOOL.
1. Download the batch files and S1Tool from the_laser bootloader unlock thread from XDA (USE THE SEARCH FUNTION).
2. Run S1Tool, plugin your phone in flashmode, and press do job (hold back key until texts appears). Check if it said SEMC certificate or SETool2. If you get unknown..... Don't even bother to unlock your bootloader. >:D
3. If you get SEMC certificate, then run qsd8250_semc.cmd. If you get SETool2 certificate, run qsd8250_setool2.cmd.
4. It will say "PRESS ANY DAMN KEYS ", but before that, plugin your phone in flashmode, hold the back key and press any key at your keyboard. DO NOT RELEASE THE BACK KEY. WAIT UNTIL EVERYTHING IS DONE AND IT SAID "PRESS ANY DAMN KEYS " again, and press any key on your keyboard.
5. FLASH BACK THE KERNEL YOU ARE USING OR ANY OTHER KERNEL FOR UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER (DOOMKERNEL V5 is recommended).

ady rooted & install x recovery into my phone via stock 2.3.3.
planning to use custom rom but the problem is i cant boot to x recovery to install new rom

press back button when you boot up the phone?

tried.press back button few times when S.E word came out but it will still continue normal boot.
Unroot and root again then install back x recovery same happen.
